Abstract

Dispositif d'affichage à émission de champ comportant une plaque frontale et une plaque dorsale. La plaque frontale présente une face intérieure comprenant une région active constituée par une multitude de pixels de phosphore et la plaque dorsale présente une face intérieure comportant une multitude d'émetteurs de champ. Des parois latérales sont disposées entre les plaques de manière à former une enceinte fermée comprise entre les faces intérieures des plaques frontale et dorsale. Une paroi d'espacement au moins placée dans l'enceinte contrecarre les forces s'appliquant sur l'enceinte. Une structure intérieure au moins fixe et raidit les plaques frontale et dorsale et maintient les pixels de phosphore face aux émetteurs de champ correspondants. De plus, la plaque frontale peut comporter au moins un repère et la plaque dorsale, un repère aligné sur lui, le repère de la plaque frontale étant en alignement optique avec celui de la plaque dorsale. La paroi d'espacement est tout d'abord placée dans son support de fixation, les repères des plaques frontale et dorsale se trouvant alors en alignement optique puis la paroi d'espacement est introduite dans le localisateur. Les pixels de phosphore se trouvent ainsi alignés avec les émetteurs de champ correspondants. Il n'est pas nécessaire de recourir à des fixations extérieures lors des processus de collage et scellement à haute température de ce dispositif d'affichage.
