Abstract
The invention relates to a device for automatically lubricating cables in a limited number of operations, thus substantially improving productivity and avoiding interruptions in the passenger and goods transport service and also eliminating the risk of accidents during manual brush-lubrication. The device consists of a housing (2) fitted to a spray gun (1) which sprays the lubricant on the cables (5) running inside the housing (2). Sealing is ensured by brushes (4) secured to the slits through which the cables (5) run into the housing (2).
Description
The present invention particularly relates to a device for lubricating elevator cables or cables for lifting and traction equipment.
In general, elevator cables or cables for lifting and traction equipment are lubricated manually, using pins coated with grease or lubricating oil.
To carry out these manual pin¬ lubrication operations, it is compulsory to prohibit the commissioning of the elevators, which brings significant disturbances, and this results in a loss of profitability.
Furthermore, manual lubrication is very dangerous, since it must be done with the cable machinery in operation.
Figure 1 shows in section A and in section B the device according to the invention.
With reference to these drawings, the device comprises, an electric or pneumatic spray gun (1), fixed to a housing (2) forming both a spray chamber and a receptacle for lubricating teeth.
This case (2) comprises, a slot (3) on the top, and a slot (3) on the bottom which are equipped with brushes (4) sealing around the cables (5) during the spraying of lubricants (13). These brushes (4) are removable, so that they can be replaced following their fouling or their usu¬ re.
Le pistolet (1) et le boitier (2) sont assemblés par un étrier (6) .The gun (1) and the housing (2) are assembled by a caliper (6).
L'ensemble est fixé soit par un était (7) figure 2 lui même installé entre le sol et le plafond du local de la machinerie, le tout étant assemblé par un système articulé de rotule multiposi- tion (8).The assembly is fixed either by a was (7) Figure 2 itself installed between the floor and the ceiling of the machinery room, the whole being assembled by an articulated system of multi-position ball joint (8).
In the case of fixing figure 3 on the frame of the machinery, yne suction cup (9) magnetic or electro-magnetic, secures the assembly box (2) and gun (1) with the articulated system of multi-position ball joint (8) and fixing nut (10) whose distance adjustment is adjusted by sliding rods (9). The gun (1) is put into operation by a switch located on the gun (1) or on an electric power cable.
Regarding the establishment; the housing (2) for spraying can be installed, either from the left or from the right of the cables (5), because on the housing (2) four assembly holes (11) allow the gun to pivot (1) at 90 ° in four different positions.
When the gun (1) is started, the lubricant is aspirated in a reservoir (12) adapted to the gun (1), or in another case directly in a separate reservoir, variant not illustrated.
In the casing (2), recovery channels (14) of the lubrication agent end up in evacuation orifices (15) with flow into a separate tank.
On the housing (2) a hinge (16) allows _ it to open, for the introduction of cables in the slots which sup¬ carry the brushes (4).
La fermeture du boitier (2) est verrouillée par une grenouil- 1ère (17).The closure of the case (2) is locked by a 1st frog (17).
