Abstract
The invention provides for a flower-pot hydrating device comprising a water container (1) with a transparent wall (2) becoming opaque (12), having internal brackets (11) on three levels (21, 22, 23), supporting either a removable floor which is long (9) with slits (10) or wide holes (57'), or circular (9') with concentric slits (57) or with a wide hole (57'), or a long (16) or circular (16') removable floor with slots (17) receiving a hydrating mat (14) having slub(s) (15). The level (21) corresponds to the tilted position of a flower-pot by means of an additional angled (32) floor. The level (23) is the pot's position for a long-duration water supply, the container's sealable holes (8,8') being stopped. The pots are provided with a porous slub having a semirigid and semiresilient (18) metal structure. On level (23), the floor is replaceable by a cover made non-sealing (3), having a stabilizing-edge (4) completed with an additional stand (49) with a transparent edge (4'), useful in case of strong wind.
Description
DISPOSITIF POUR L'HYDRATATION DES POTS DE PLEUR Le dispositif destiné à effectuer l'hydratation de la terre des pots et des coupes de fleurs est réalisé au moyen d'un conteneur socle réservoir à eau (1 ) toujours transparent ou translucide. Il prend toutes les formes (cylindrique, c bique, cubique rectancle, ovale ou en polyèdre régulier)» Sa face supérieure, formant couvercle rendu non étanche (3) à emboîtage intérieur (51) ou extérieur (52) supporte soit une petite bordure (4) légèrement inclinée, soit une bordu¬ re latérale verticale toujours opagues (12) en prolongement de la paroi latérale du socle (2) délimitant le piètement du pot de fleurs. Ce piètement est percé d'une fente en for me de croix (53) pour correspondre aux différents trous de drainage des pots de fleurs, au travers de laquelle passe¬ ra la mèche poreuse à armature métallique (7) ou la mèche du tapis hydratant (1 ) décrits ci-après. La base du conte- neur-eocle repose sur un piètement (54) de faible hauteur. Un conteneur-socle destiné à recevoir quelques pots de fleurs (55) ou un conteneur-socle destiné à recevoir une ra gée de pots de fleurs (56)* est construit en une seule pièce comprenant la paroi transparente ou translucide AB du con¬ teneur-socle d'eau (2) et la paroi paque de la bordure la¬ térale supérieure (12). Il n'y a pas de piètement. A la place du couvercle, il supporte un plancher amovible (9) posé sur des tenons (11) disposés et faisant corps sur la face intérieure de la paroi latérale opaque. Cette paroi la térale supporte trois lignes étagées de ces tenons (11). L1 étage inférieur (21),pour une position normale du pot de fleurs sur son plancher amovible (9) est situé à la base de la paroi opaque, De faisant un peu au-dessus de la ligne ma xima du niveau du conteneur-socle transparent. Un étage in¬ termédiaire (22) pour utiliser le plancher amovible (9) à large trou (57'), le plancher (9) formant bordure-colleret¬ te ou avec un autre type de plancher pour utiliser le plan¬ cher additionnel en angle lt vif (32) et ainsi obtenir l'in- çlinaison du pot de fleurs. Un étage supérieur (23) pour u- tiliser la totalité du conteneur-socle, en conteneur de grande capacité de réserve d'eau en bouchant le(s) trou(s)

Ce dernier plancher, au niveau (23) est remplacé par un couvercle rendu non étanche (3) supportant une bor¬ dure (4) légèrement inclinée et suffisamment haute, pour soutenir le pot de fleurs en cas de vent violent, en y a- joutant un socle-piètement stabilisateur (49) pour le con¬ teneur-socle. Si la paroi" latérale opaque (12) est incli-β-ée la portée des tenons des niveaux (22) et (23) est allongée pour utiliser le même plancher (2). La paroi opaque au ni- veau de ces tenons est plus épaisse, en proportion, pour é viter un trop grand débattement latéral du plancher. Selo la taille et la forme du plancher (9) , .celui-ci supportera des fentes en croix (53), en étoile (53'), en y (53") con¬ centriques asymétriques (5:') ou un large trou (57') corres pondant au passage de la base du pot de fleurs, le planche ormant collerette en appui sur les tenons ( 1). Ce planche a l'avantage d'être utilisé au niveau (22) pour l'inclinai son du pot-de fleurs, sans avoir besoin d'utiliser le plan cher additionnel en angle à bords à vif (32) avec le passa ge facile de la mèche (7) ^équipant le pot de fleurs. Le plancher long (9')' supporte trois fentes asymétriques (10) sur presque toute sa longueur,ou en solution de continuité correspondant au placement de chaque pot de fleurs, ou des encoches (17) sur sa bordure périphérique comme les autres planchers destinés à recevoir le tapis hydratant décrit ci après» Ces encoches (17) laissent le passage à l'eau de remplissage sans avoir besoin de déplacer le pot de fleurs. Un trou obturable de dégorgement (8) est percé près du bor supérieur du socle transparent, au niveau 21 r éventuelle- ment sur la ligne de niveau (22) (8'). Le conteneur-socle est construit en deux parties. La partie inférieure trans¬ parente (1 ) AB supporte, près de son bord supérieur, un trou obturable (8) et la partie opaque supérieure (12) a- vec ses trois étages de tenons-supports de plancher (11). Leur emboîtage est hermétique et étanche. Les dimensions sont les mêmes, la hauteur de la paroi du socle transparen étant au moins égale à la moitié de la hauteur de la paroi latérale opaque. Le trou (8) sous le niveau (21) reste ou-
vert dans les conditions normales d'utilisation, surtout pour les conteneurs-socles à parois latérales exposés aux intempéries, situés sur les balcons, terrasses, jardins, etc. Il est obturé uniquement pour obtenir le niveau d'eau maxima (23) en cas d'absence prolongée, le pot de fleurs é tant sur le plancher ou le couvercle au niveau supérieur (23) des tenons (11). L'eau en excédent se déverse par¬ dessus le bord supérieur ou au travers de la bordure du couvercle rendu non étanche. L'obturation de ce trou est obtenu au moyen de divers dispositifs tels que bouchon de liège, petite bonde à visser avec sa chaînette anti-pertes, réglette rotative sur axe avec son joint-téton (comme 28), tirette sur glissière à joint plat progressif, disque rota- tif à lumière, sans qu'il soit nécessaire de les décrire plus avant. Le remplissage du conteneur-socle se fait à la main, au travers des fentes ou des encoches du plancher, en soulevant au besoin le pot de fleurs. Si le pot de fleurs est de très grande dimension, le conteneur-socle est assuré d'une ouverture sur son couvercle (58) vec un couvercle à clapet (59) ainsi que de poignées ou de corniches de préhen sion (60). Au cas, peu souhaitable, où le conteneur-socle est entièrement opaque, il est ajouté un tube de contrôle de niveau d'eau (38) qui est disposé contre et en saillie d'une ou des deux parois latérales. Sa partie supérieure est évasée en forme de demi-entonnoir (61) qui est situé à la hauteur du niveau d'eau maximal ou du trou obturable de dégorgement. Ce tube est interchangeable par l'intermédiai¬ re de son socle creux (39) en dépassement de la paroi. Ce socle supporte un téon creux (40) en vertical, du diamètre intérieur du tube transparent et une rainure circulaire en creux de l'épaisseur de la paroi du tube (41). le tube s' enfonce légèrement à force autour du téton et dans la rai¬ nure circulaire. Le tube passe auparavant au travers d' an- neaux-g-ŒLêLes- e-fc de soutien (42) situés en vertical sur la paroi du conteneur-socle. Des gravures en creux de type "pointes de diamant" sur le tube transparent facilitent la lecture de celui-ci. La mèche à armature métallique semi- rigide, poreuse, réalisant la liaison eau-terre (7), est
•- 4 - constituée d'une armature de deux fils de métal non ferreux, non oxydable à l'eau, torsadés en tourillons serrés empri¬ sonnant de fines et courtes soies de laine acrylique ou ana¬ logue, poreuses et imputrescibles, suffisamment touffues " pour qu'elles s'entremêlent entre elles, ressemblant en plus petit à l'objet appelé "goupillon" en montage de brosserie. Cette mèche est recouverte d'un fourreau ou d'une bande de même matière ou de type flanelle, montée en spirale, rendant la mèche à armature plus épaisse pour hydrater le volume de terre de pots de fleurs plus ou très importants. Les mèches sont repliées ou reliées entre elles par simple épissure pour obtenir la longueur désirée sans nuire à ses qualités de capillarité. Elles se coupent avec de forts ciseaux ou une petite pince coupante. O e mèche semi-rigide est obté- nue au moyen d'un tube plastique "cristal" ou opaque, rempli entassé des mêmes touffes de fils y dépassant (13). Cette mèche ne peut que se raccourcir. Ces mèches s'enfoncent fa¬ cilement dans la terre des pots de fleurs. L'hydratation de la terre des pots et des coupes de fleurs est obtenue par l' intermédiaire d'un conteneur-socle réservoir à eau ne ser- vant à contenir que de l'eau, tel que décrit ci-avant; mais sur toute la surface .du piètement du socle ou sur toute la surface du plancher est placé un tapis hydratant de laine acrylique ou analogue, poreux et imputrescible (14). Le ta- pis est relié à l'eau par des mèches additionnelles interca¬ lées (62-62') ou construit avec sa (ou ses) mèche(s) (15) souple(s). Celle-ci passe au travers des fentes du plancher et plonge à toucher le fond du conteneur-socle réservoir à eau. Le plancher (16) recevant ce tapis hydratant est muni d'encoches (17) sur le périmètre de sa bordure pour l'écou¬ lement de l'eau de remplissage. Une èche courte destinée au pots de fleurs placés sur le tapis hydratant est constituée moitié en montage à armature métallique, moitié en bande (18')0 Le socle-réservoir avec ou sans piètement est équipé sur ses deux bords latéraux de deux crochets (19) au besoin rendus amovibles pour son accrochage aux balcons. Un conte¬ neur-socle sans piètement (55) équipé de préférence du tapi hydratant est à suspendre par l'intermédiaire de l'extrémit
de ses angles supérieurs de sa bordure en dépassement percé (20) supportant les crochets des chaînes de suspension. Le remplissage se fait à la main, sans le déposer. L'eau s'é¬ coule par les encoches (17) de son plancher dans la partie transparente ou translucide du conteneur-socle, obtenant le contrôle visuel aisé de son niveau. Une position inclinée de 20 à 60° des conteneurs-socles est obtenue 'au moyen d'u¬ ne réglette en angle droit (24). Cette réglette est fixée serrée, mais tournante sur un axe (26), au sommet de son an gle (^5) et au sommet* du même angle inférieur de chaque pa¬ roi latérale, la branche de i-oεitionnement (28) est munie à sa partie supérieure d'un tétcn rend (29) et se termine en cnglet de préhension (30). Le téton prend sa position par glissement rotatif et, ar effet de ressort, se place dans le logement rond de la paroi latérale (31) déterminant l'angle désiré. L'autre branche, plus longue, de la réglet¬ te en angle droit (28) est la branche de piètement. Une bra che de positionnement en quart de cercle (28') remplit la même fonctiono Le même dispositif,dont la branche longue de piètement se termine en crochet (63), s'utilise pour l'ac¬ crochage incliné du conteneur-socle. L'épaisseur et la ré¬ sistance de la réglette de son téton et de son axe sont en fonction du poids à supporter. Le conteneur-socle inclina¬ ble, outre son trou de dégorgement, est muni de traits de niveau visualisés en fonction de son inclinaiso . Sur des conteneurs-socles restant en position verticale, la posi¬ tion inclinée des pots de fleurs est obtenue au moyen d'un plancher additionnel en angle désiré, en bords inférieurs à vif (32), le plancher étant situé au niveau (22). Le plan variable de l'angle (33) est percé de fentes verticales (10) laissant le passage à la mèche à armature. Pour le conte¬ neur-socle long, à rangée de plusieurs pots, ce plancher ad¬ ditionnel peut n'avoir que la largeur de piètement du pot de fleurs, faisant alterner à volonté une présentation vertica¬ le et inclinée des pots de fleurs. Un dispositif obtient l' alimentation constante et automatique en eau poux- un grand nombre de conteneurs-socles» En munissant ceux-ci de tubes de liaison (35) avec un robinet d'arrêt (50) et pour leur
- 6 - arrivée d'eau d'un tube de liaison équipé d'un conduit in¬ térieur (35*) aboutissant à un robinet à flotteur (37)» Les tubes étant reliés par des tuyaux (36) pour avoir la facul¬ té de distribution dans toutes les directions, il est prefé rable de disposer en premier lieu d'un réservoir d'alimenta tion générale (64) muni d'un robinet à flotteur type chasse d'eau (37) qui recevra l'eau sous pression et équipé à sa base de plusieurs tubes de liaison (35) avec son robinet (50) _ Ce réservoir est en position surélevée par rapport au premier conteneur-socle à alimenter qui, lui-même, pourra a limenter un autre socle situe à un niveau inférieur ou à so même niveau et ainsi de suite.
