Definitions

  • the invention relates to a manually movable shopping trolley, consisting essentially of a chassis with a loading area and two U-shaped brackets arranged on both sides as a sliding device and as supports and a pivotable one in the room basket located between the two U-shaped brackets, the necessary brackets and the welding mechanism for the basket being arranged on the two U-shaped brackets.
  • the basket in the position of use serves as a receptacle for goods of small dimensions.
  • a free space is created between the U-shaped brackets, which allows long, high and wide objects, such as plates, boxes, packaging boxes, boxes, frames and / or furniture, to be placed on the trolley to load and transport.
  • Such shopping carts are often used in hardware stores, furniture stores and in self-service markets with a range of goods of very different dimensions. Shopping carts of this type are therefore known per se.
  • DE-OS 3 405 154 describes a transport carriage which can be moved by hand and has a chassis, loading area and two lateral U-shaped brackets for pushing and supporting, in which a pivotable basket is arranged on one of the brackets.
  • This basket is designed as a cantilever, extends transversely to the direction of travel and can move transversely to the direction of travel about an axis fixed to one of the brackets by means of two longitudinal loops suspended in this axis on the top edges of the basket from a horizontal position of use into a downward direction Rest position are moved.
  • This basket is dimensionally stable and only extends over a part the distance between the two side brackets.
  • the trolley has the disadvantage that the basket, since it does not extend over the entire width of the trolley, has a reduced capacity, and that there are limits to the increase in the clear width owing to the rigid shape of the basket.
