Abstract
AMMONIUM 1,4-CYCLOHEXANEDICARBOCXYLATE IS PREPARED BY HYDROGENATING TEREPHTHALIC ACID IN THE PRESENCE OF AN EXCESS OF AMMONIUM HYDROXIDE OVER PLADIUM CATALYSTS. AMMONIUM 1,4-CYCLOHEXANEDICARBOXYLATE IS A VALUABLE CHEMICAL INTERMEDIATE, E.G., IN THE SYNTHESIS OF POLYAMIDES.
Description
DEFENSIVE PUBLICATION UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE Published at the request of the applicant or owner in accordance with the Notice of Dec. 16, 1969, 869 0.G. 687. The abstracts of Defensive Publication applications are identified by distinctly numbered series and are arranged chronologically.
