DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,278, dated January 5, 1892.

Application filed April 27, 1391. Serial No. 390,703- Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, GEORGE R. WEST, a resident of Pittsburg, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for Bottles; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof.

My design relates to glass bottles and like receptacles; and it consists in a bottle having the form of a violin or like stringed instrument, having the mouth or opening at the butt-end.

In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a face view of the bottle; and Fig. 2 is a crosssection on the line 2 2, Fig. 1.

In the drawings, a represents the body of the bottle, which has the form of a violin or like stringed instrument. At one end of the body a is the neck I), having thehead c. The mouth or opening e of the bottle is formed at the end opposite to the neck of the violin, which is shown as closed by the cap 71. The violin shown has the representation of the tail-piece f and the bridge g. The interior of the glass bottle is indicated by the dotted line lo 70 within the edge of the body a of the bottle.

Vhat I claim is- The design for glass bottles and like receptacles herein shown and described.
