DESIGN FOR A RAIL-SPLICE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,844, dated March 30, 1897. Application filed January 22, 1897. Serial No. 629,273. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. ZIEGLER, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Pittsburg, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have in Vented a certain new and original Design for a Rail-Splice, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawings.
This invention relates to a certain new and original design for a rail-splice, and is fully set forth in the accompanying specification and drawings, in which drawings- Figure 1 is a perspective View. Fig. 2 is a 5 longitudinal sectional View.
The principal features of my design consist in the plates at, being rigidly connected together in the center by the square bar I), said plates being beveled inwardly on their edges, as shown at c c.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim is The design for a rail-splice as herein shown and described.
