In the embodiment illustrated, the cloth consists of a backing 4 of open mesh woven fabric, and a facing 5 comprising a sheet or bat of thoroughly intermingled fiber having the natural animal fat or grease therein. This facing is-laid flat against the backing, as will be, clear by reference to Fig. 3. Intersecting lines 6 of stitching are passed through andthrough both the facing and backing, and secure the sheet or bat of fiber to and fiat against the woven fabric backing, These lines of stitching thus serve to hold the parts together, leaving th.eintermingled fiber exposed so that it will come into contact with theskin and impart the medicinal properretained therein and spread out in a flat laye ties of the grease contained therein to the body. The said lines of stitching are close enough together so that the cloth may be cut in any direction, and the fiber will still be effectively retained to the edge of the cut. Moreover it will be evident that by having the facing in a fiat layer against the backing, the two parts will pass readily through a sew ing machine not only when said parts are se cured together, but when the cloth is made up into garments.
