To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HERBERT HENRY BERRY, a subject of the King of Great Britain, residing at Uplands House, Chase Ridings, Enfield, in the county of Middlesex, in England, have invented new and useful Im-' provernents in Electric Switches, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to that class of electric switch fuse which is inclosed in a metal or other protected type of case, and the object of my invention 1s to construct the mechanical parts of the apparatus in such a v the hd r cover on its hin cs.

In an electric switch, the combination of a case having a hinged cover, a switch member arranged within the. case, a sliding lunger movable in the cover, perpendicuarly to the latter, a second'switoh member carried by the plunger and adapted to engage the switchmember in the case,- and a-proiec tion extending upwardly from the bottom of the case and arranged'to be engaged by the plunger when the lattenis. in the on position, andthe. cover is. moved to open or close the case.
