RACK FOR HORSE-(DOLLARS- SPEGIFIGATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 52,203, dated February 16, 1904,

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that L FRANK M. Coon, a citizen of the United States, residing at Goshen, in the county of Elkhart and State of Indiana, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Racks for Horse-Collars, of which the following is a specification.

My invention relates to racks for hanging horse-collars, and has for its objects the provision of a rack that is easily and quickly put up or taken down and that is reasonable in cost of manufacture.

The construction and advantages of my invention will fully appear hereinafter and by reference to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a view in perspective of my invention, and Fig. 2 a side view of one of the brackets.

In the drawings similar reference characters indicate corresponding parts throughout both views.

My invention consists of two or more angular brackets A, each having one side B provided with a suitable number of screw-holes Z; to receive screws or bolts to secure the bracket to any suitable support. The side C,that starts from the lower end of the side B, is bent upward at its outer end and the side D, starting from the upper end, bent downward and secured to the side C inside of said bent-up portion, this structure forming a hook E at which the collars are to be hung.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim is A rack comprising brackets having one side adapted to be secured to a suitable support, another side extending upwardly and outwardly from the first-named side and having its outer end bent vertically upward, and a third side extending outwardly on a horizontal plane and then bent downwardly at a right angle thereto and secured to the upwardly-extending side inside of the end thereof, said construction forming arectangularhook having a horizontal base and two vertical sides,

a bar rectangular in cross-section .and adapted to be removably and replaceably seated in the hooks on the brackets, inverted T shaped hooks secured to said bar, and knobs on the ends of the cross-arms of said hooks, substantially as shown and described.
