1 TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that I, FRANK BOWMAN, of Waltham, in the county of Middlesex, in the State of Massachusettsfiiave invented a new and improved portable Stove Cricket, and I do hereby declare that the following is a. full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, in which are shown in a perspective view a plan of the upper shelf and e plan of the under shelf. Similar letters refer to similar parts. To enable others skilled in the art to make and use my invention, I'ivill proceed to describe its construction and use: My invention consists in providing a cricket, or holder, made of any suitable material, for the purpose of supporting hot or cold stove furniture, or other articles, when not in use upon the stove; the upper portion of which, marked A, consists of a plate or frame of cast iron, or other suitable materials, perforated with circular; openings for receiving kettles or other articles of stove furniture. The base, or lower portion, marked B, consists also of a plate or frame of cast iron, or other suitable material, provided with projections or feet for the purpose of sustaining it out of contact with the floor; the use of said plate being the support of articles of less bulky nature; these two portions, A and B, being bound together, and mutually supported l by the metallic studs or pillars marked 0 c a 0.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The peculiar construction and arrangement of a portable stove cricket, substantially as and for the purpose L set forth and described.
