ELECTRIC RAZOR CLEANER This invention relates to an electric razor cleaning device for removing hair from the blades.
A primary object of this invention is the provision of a portable compact device.
Another object of this invention is the facilitation and improvement of the cleaning operation.
The above and'oth er objects of this invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art after a consideration of a preferred embodiment of this invention taken together with the accompanying drawing wherein:
FIG. 1 is a side elevational view of the device;
FIG. 2 is a front elevational view thereof;
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view thereof;
FIG. 4 is a plan view thereof; and
FIG. 5 is a sectional view taken on the line 5-5 of FIG. 2.
Referring in detail to the drawing, there is shown a bulb of elastic material molded in an oblong configuration with one end thereof having a large hole 12 and and a plurality of small holes 14 therein. A tubular passageway 16 is secured within hole 12 with a large opening 18 extending into the inside of hollow bulb 10. The other end of passageway 16 has a small opening 20 thereof partially enclose the space in which air is being clipped hair due to air pressure alone and due to ends which is exactly 0.063 inches for producing the rightamount of air pressure when bulb 10 is squeezed together so that the air forced out of opening 20 will be tend outward from bulb 10 to a pointwhere the ends 26 26 into a waste basket or Kleenex on the left of the razor blade that is being cleaned. It should be noted that the cleaning device can be manufactured in a size that would easily fit into any standard electric razor case or that would facilitate the: attachment of the device at a point along the outside wall of the electric razor itself. Element 22 would preferably be used only for hair clippings that could not be removed from the blade with air pressure alone in order to minimize the dulling of the blade with continuous brushing of elements 22.
While a preferred embodiment of this invention has been illustrated and described, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that many modifications and changes may be resorted to within the spirit and scope of this invention.
I claim:
1. An electric razor blade cleaner, comprising a compressible casing having an opening at one side of one end thereof, a passageway forming member extending outward from said opening and having a curved outer surface tapering away from said casing, and a plurality of stiff hair-like members extending from the other side of said one end of said casing together forming a partially enclosed space beyond the outer end 'of said passageway for brushing clipped hairs from the blades of an electric razor as a stream of air is expelled from said passageway into said space upon the compression of said casing, said hair-like members each being paral lel. with a tangent along said curved outer surface of said passageway and each of said members lying in a plane parallel with the longitudinal axis of said passageway.
