Abstract
Disclosed is a makeup brush cleaning kit. According to the present invention, the makeup brush cleaning kit includes: a base body; a cover body coupled openably/closably to the base body; and a cleaning unit disposed in the cover body and serving as a cleaning place for the makeup brush, wherein the cleaning unit has a plurality of drainage holes formed thereon in such a manner as to communicate with the outside of the cover body.
Description
- The present invention relates to a makeup brush cleaning kit, and more particularly, to a makeup brush cleaning kit that is capable of conveniently and rapidly cleaning a makeup brush.
- Generally, makeup brushes, pencils, mascara brushes, and the like are used as tools for applying cosmetics, and since such makeup tools come into direct contact with a user's skin, in this case, their sanitary state has a close relationship with the user's health.
- Recently, people have paid more attention to their health, and accordingly, they try to protect their body from all kinds of bacteria existing around them so as to prevent themselves from having diseases.
- Bristles (hairs) of the makeup tools are well known as places in which invisible bacteria live, and due to such bacteria, accordingly, the makeup tools give bad influences on human bodies. In some cases, they may be used as major bacteria infection passages through which the bacteria harmful to the human bodies are carried.
- In case of makeup brushes, particularly, they are continuously used in the state where cosmetics are applied to the bristles thereof, and therefore, side effects like skin troubles may happen. In this case, a new makeup brush capable of solving such problems has to be provided.
- Further, there is a need to develop a new makeup brush having a structure capable of being conveniently carried with a user who takes a trip, has a business travel, and is in his or her daily living.
- The above-mentioned technologies are suggested just as background technologies for helping the present invention understood, and further, they do not mean the conventional technologies well known in the field of the present invention.
- Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a makeup brush cleaning kit that is capable of conveniently and rapidly cleaning a makeup brush.
- To accomplish the above-mentioned object, according to the present invention, there is provided a makeup brush cleaning kit including: a base; body; a cover body coupled openably/closably to the base body; and a cleaning unit disposed in the cover body and serving as a cleaning place for a makeup brush, wherein the cleaning unit has a plurality of drainage holes formed thereon in such a manner as to communicate with the outside of the cover body.
- According to the present invention, desirably, the cleaning unit includes: a base plate coupled to the cover body and having the plurality of drainage holes formed thereon; first cleaning portions protruding outwardly from the base plate; and second cleaning portions protruding outwardly from the base plate and having smaller sizes than the first cleaning portions.
- According to present invention, desirably, the cover body has a coupling hole formed on the center thereof, and the base plate has a protruding coupling part, fittedly coupled to the coupling hole, the protruding coupling part being made of an elastic material.
- According to the present invention, desirably, the plurality of drainage holes is formed on the protruding coupling part.
- According to the present invention, desirably, the first cleaning portions are formed on the center of the base plate and the second cleaning portions surround the outermost periphery of the first cleaning portions.
- According to the present invention, desirably, the cover body has a plurality of cover body holes formed thereon.
- According to the present invention, desirably, the cover body has a support shaft for coupling the base body thereto and at least one or more opening and closing guiders supported against opening and closing guider grooves formed on the base body upon the opening and closing of the cover body so as to guide the opening and closing of the cover body.
- The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments of the invention in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:

- Hereinafter, an explanation on a makeup brush cleaning kit according to the present invention will be in detail described with reference to the attached drawing. In the description, it should be noted that the parts corresponding to those of the drawings are indicated by corresponding reference numerals.

brush cleaning kit 1 according to the present invention includes abase body 100, acover body 200 coupled openably/closably to thebase body 100, acleaning unit 300 disposed in thecover body 200 and serving as a cleaning place for a makeup brush B, and asoap 400 disposed in thebase body 100. - As shown in
FIGS. 1 and 4 , thebase body 100 has generally circular shape and size, which is taken and treated most conveniently by women's hands, like a well-known powder container. - According to the present invention, as shown in
FIG. 2 , thebase body 100 has a pair of support shaft supports 110 disposed on the back surface thereof in such a manner as to be fitted to asupport shaft 210 of thecover body 200 to support thesupport shaft 210 thereagainst. - Further, as shown in
FIG. 2 , thebase body 100 has opening and closingguider grooves 120 formed on the regions where the pair of support shaft supports 110 are disposed. The opening andclosing guider grooves 120 serve to support a pair of opening and closingguiders 220 upon the opening and closing of thecover body 200 to gently open and close thecover body 200 in cooperative operation with the opening and closingguiders 220. - Furthermore, as shown in
FIG. 4 , thebase body 100 has acoupling groove 130 formed on the front surface thereof and asupport protrusion 140 formed on the wall surface of thecoupling groove 130. According to the present invention, as shownFIG. 3 , afastening protrusion 231 of thecover body 200 is lockedly coupled to thesupport protrusion 140. - As shown in
FIG. 3 , thecover body 200 shaft-coupled openably and closably to thebase body 100 on one side portion thereof and is fastened to thesupport protrusion 140 formed on thebase body 100 on the other side portion thereof. Also, thecover body 200 is provided as the place coupled to thecleaning unit 300. According to the present invention, of course, thecleaning unit 300 may be coupled to thebase body 100. - According to the present invention, as shown in
FIG. 2 , theCover body 200 has thesupport shaft 210 disposed integrally with the back surface thereof and the pair of opening and closingguiders 220 spaced apart from each other in such a manner as to be fitted to thesupport shaft 210. As shown inFIG. 2 , the pair of opening andclosing guiders 220 has a shape of a flat round in such a canner as to be contactedly supported against the opening and closingguider grooves 120 upon the opening and closing, of thecover body 200. - Further, as shown in
FIG. 3 , thecover body 200 has afastening piece 230 hating thefastening protrusion 231 disposed on the front surface thereof. - Furthermore, as shown in
FIGS. 1 and 3 , thecover body 200 has acoupling hole 240 formed on the center thereof in such a manner as to be coupled to a protrudingcoupling part 311. According to the, present invention, 44 shown inFIG. 3 , thecoupling hole 240 has a stepped protrusion formed thereon in such a manner as to allow the protrudingcoupling part 311 to be lockedly supported thereagainst. - In addition, as shown in
FIGS. 1 and 3 , thecover body 200 has a plurality ofcover body holes 250 formed thereon. According to the present invention, thecover body holes 250 serve as passages for discharging the pollutants remaining in thecover body 200 therethrough after the makeup brush B has been cleaned. - As shown in
FIGS. 3 and 4 , thecleaning unit 300 is coupled to thecover body 200 and serves as a place for cleaning the makeup brush B, that is, a place for rubbing the makeup brush B thereon. - According to the present invention, as shown in
FIG. 3 , thecleaning unit 300 has abase plate 310 coupled to thecover body 200 and having a plurality ofdrainage holes 312 formed thereon, firstcleaning portions 320 protruding outwardly from thebase plate 310, andsecond cleaning portions 320 protruding outwardly from thebase plate 310 and having smaller sizes than thefirst cleaning portions 320. - As shown in
FIG. 5 , thebase plate 310 of thecleaning unit 300 is flattedly formed, and further, as shown inFIG. 3 , thebase plate 310 has the protrudingcoupling part 311 disposed protrudingly from the center thereof toward thecover body 200 in such a manner as to be detachably fittedly coupled to thecoupling hole 240 of thecover body 200. - According to the present invention, as shown in
FIG. 6 , theprotruding coupling part 311 is rounded and has the plurality ofdrainage holes 312 formed thereon. As mentioned above, the plurality of drainage holes, 312 serve as first passages for discharging the pollutants remaining in thecover body 200 after the makeup brush B has been cleaned. - According to the present invention, the
base plate 310 is made of an elastic silicone material, and otherwise, the whole of thebase plate 310 or the protrudingcoupling part 311 as a portion of thebase plate 310 is made of an elastic material such as silicone, rubber, synthetic resin and the like - Accordingly, the
base plate 310 of thecleaning unit 300 is detachably separated from thecover base 200 in such a manner as to be tightly coupled through fitting to thecover base 200 when thecleaning kit 1 is used and to be separated from thecover base 200 when thecleaning unit 300 is polluted, so that theseparated base plate 310 of thecleaning unit 300 is cleaned and then coupled again to thecover base 200, thereby making it possible to use thecleaning unit 300 in a sanitary and continuous state. - As shown in
FIGS. 3 and 5 , thefirst cleaning portions 320 of thecleaning unit 300 are formed on the center of thebase plate 310 and have shapes of semicircles protruding outwardly from thebase plate 310. - According to the present invention, the
first cleaning portions 320 have larger sizes than thesecond cleaning portions 330, and if a big-sized powder brush is used, it cleanly rubs on the entire region of thefirst cleaning portions 320 and thesecond cleaning portions 330. - According to the present invention, further, the
first cleaning portions 320 and thesecond cleaning portions 330 are made of a silicone material and formed also unitarily with thebase plate 310. - As shown in
FIG. 5 , thesecond cleaning portions 330 of thecleaning unit 300 circularly surround the outermost periphery of thefirst cleaning portions 320. - According to the present invention, furthermore, the
second cleaning portions 330 have smaller sizes than thefirst cleaning portions 320, which considers the case wherein a small-sized shadow brush is cleaned. - According to the present invention, as shown in
FIG. 8 , thesoap 400 is accommodated in thebase body 100 and has a fixedgroove 410 and, aflat portion 420 formed thereon in consideration of the shape of thebase body 100. - According to the present invention, the
soap 400 has oil components added thereto so as to prevent the makeup brush B made of natural or artificial bristles from being hard, after the makeup brush B has been cleaned. - As described above, the makeup brush cleaning kit according to the present invention is configured wherein the cleaning unit serving as the cleaning place for the makeup brush is provided in the cover body, thereby making it possible to conveniently clean the makeup brush.
- In addition, the makeup brush cleaning kit according to the present invention is configured wherein the plurality of drainage holes formed on the cleaning unit communicates with the outside of the cover body, thereby making it possible to conveniently drain the water used to clean the makeup brush.
- Furthermore, the makeup brush cleaning kit according to the present invention is configured wherein the cleaning unit has a detachably mountable structure so that it can be conveniently separated and cleaned, thereby being sanitarily and continuously usable.
- While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
Claims (7)
1. A makeup brush cleaning kit comprising:
a base body;
a cover body coupled openably/closably to the base body; and
a cleaning unit disposed in the cover body and serving as a cleaning place for the makeup brush,
wherein the cleaning unit has a plurality of drainage holes formed thereon in such a manner as to communicate with the outside of the cover body.
2. The cleaning kit according to claim 1 , wherein the cleaning unit comprises:
a base plate coupled to the cover body and having the plurality of drainage holes formed thereon;
first cleaning portions protruding outwardly from the base plate; and
second cleaning portions protruding outwardly from the base plate and having smaller sizes than the first cleaning portions.
3. The cleaning kit according to claim 2 , wherein the cover body has a coupling hole formed on the center thereof, and the base plate has a protruding coupling part fittedly coupled to the coupling hole, the protruding coupling part being made of an elastic material.
4. The cleaning kit according to claim 3 , wherein the plurality of drainage holes is formed on the protruding coupling part.
5. The cleaning kit according to claim 2 , wherein the first cleaning portions are formed on the center of the base plate and the second cleaning portions surround the outermost periphery of the first cleaning portions.
6. The cleaning kit, according to claim 1 , wherein the cover body has a plurality of cover body holes formed thereon.
7. The cleaning kit according to claim 1 , wherein the cover body has a support shaft for coupling the base body thereto and at least one or more opening and closing guiders supported against opening and closing guider grooves formed on the base body upon the opening and closing of the cover body so as to guide the opening and closing of the cover body.
