Abstract

A wig includes a basic member and a plurality of hairs, it also comprises the baby hair and the baby hair is set in the basic member. It has baby hair, such as fine hair, to fit the basic member to cover the basic member and improve the appearance and the biofidelity of the wig.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Nowadays, owing to irregular lifestyles, pressure, drug abuse, endocrine dyscrasia, inheritance and other factors, abnormal human hairloss occurs, which leaves humans with thin hair and even bald. However, thin hair or no hair affects people's overall appearance and even affect their interpersonal relationship. Thus, people will improve their hair appearance by smearing trichogen, surgical transplant, wearing wigs, etc. However, the effect of smearing trichogen is limited and the cost and the time expense of the surgical transplant is high, human frequently choose wearing wigs as their first choice.
  • The main structure of a wig includes a basic member and a plurality of hair. The basic member is a single-layer and fits closely to a human's head. The top side of the basic member can cover the hairlines of the forehead, the bottom side of the basic member can cover the hairlines of the back side of the head, the left side end of the basic member fits closely to the back side of the left ear, and the right side end of the basic member fits closely to the back side of the right ear.
  • A traditional manufacturing technique for making the wig is that one side of the hair goes through the holes of the basic member and is fit to the basic member by knitting. The knots are exposed to the surface of the basic member of the wig, the appearance of the wig is not good, and the wig is not lifelike.
  • To improve the production efficiency of the wig, there is another method. Fit several hairs in a strip cord to produce a hair weaving. The strip cord is a slender rectangular. Fit several hair weavings to the basic member by strings and adhesive to produce a wig. The wig is comprised of several hair weavings and the hair weavings go from the left to the right of the basic member. Thus, the wigs have a stratified structure which leads the appearance of the wig not good, and the wig not lifelike.
  • To improve the appearance and the biofidelity of the wig, and to cover the knots, Chinese patent application CN 204048195 U discloses a wig structure. In that patent, the wig includes a basic member and several hairs. The basic member includes an inner mesh, a middle mesh, and a surface mesh, which are laid one atop the other. The hair is tied to threads of the middle mesh of the basic member and the hair goes through the holes of the surface mesh to the outside. The surface mesh can cover the knots of the middle mesh.
  • However, there are still some disadvantages, for example, when people comb their hair by hand or the wind blows the hair, the net structure of the basic member will be exposed, which affects the appearance and the biofidelity of the wig.
  • SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
  • To solve the above problem, the present disclosure discloses a new wig. The new wig sets regular hair and baby hair, which is finer than the regular hair, to fit the basic member to cover the basic member and improve the appearance and the biofidelity of the wig. Accordingly, the new wig comprises a basic member and a plurality of types of hairs, i.e., regular hair and baby hair. It also comprises the baby hair and the baby hair is set in the basic member.
  • The baby hair can be made of real hair or fiber materials.
  • The baby hair has a curved shape, and it can include one, two, or more curved intervals which are formed by real hair, or fiber materials, which are produced by a curving process.
  • The expanded length of the baby hair is about 1-5 cm.
  • The methods of the curving process is twining the real hair or fibers materials to a curved bar and then heating and sizing. The curved bar may be cylinder or an irregular polyhedron.
  • The structure of the basic member is set to a single-layer mesh or a multi-layer mesh. The baby hair is set in the outside surface of the basic member.
  • The baby hair is distributed symmetrically in the outside surface of the whole basic member.
  • The root of the hair is attached to the basic member by knitting knots.
  • The root of the hair is attached to the basic member by strings.
  • The benefits of the present disclosure includes:
  • 1. Setting the baby hair in the basic member can cover the basic member and improve the appearance and the biofidelity of the wig.
  • 2. Because the baby hair is short and homogeneously distributed, the baby hair matches the whole basic member very well and the hair cannot be lifted by hand or wind. When people comb their hair by hand or the wind blows the hair, the baby hair will be exposed instead of the basic member, which further improves the biofidelity of the wig.
  • 3. The baby hair can be made of real hair or fiber materials directly. Real hair and fiber materials can be both straight and naturally bending, which further improves the biofidelity of the wig.
  • 4. The baby hair also can be made by twining real hair or fiber materials to a curved bar, and then heating and sizing. The curved bar is cylindrical or an irregular polyhedron. The produced baby hair has a bending shape and it can include one, two or more curved intervals. This kind of baby hair is very similar to black people's hair and it looks more natural when black people wear this kind of baby hair, which further improves the biofidelity of the wig.
  • 5. The baby hair can be designed to show different bending, which is more similar to human's hair.
  • 6. The present disclosure can match various wig structures. The basic member can be both single-layer mesh and multi-layer mesh structure. The baby hair can attach to the basic member by both knitting knots and strings. When using the wig, the side fit to the human head is defined as inside surface and the other side is defined as outside surface. The baby hair is set in the outside surface.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION
  • The new wig sets regular hair and baby hair, which is finer than the regular hair, to fit the basic member to cover the basic member and improve the appearance and the biofidelity of the wig. Accordingly, the new wig comprises a basic member and a plurality of types of hairs, i.e., regular hair and baby hair. It also comprises the baby hair and the baby hair is set in the basic member.
  • The color of the baby hair may be black. The structure of the basic member can be a multi-layer mesh and the baby hair is set in the outside surface of the basic member.
The curved bar may be cylindrical or an irregular polyhedron.
  • The baby hair also can be made of the real hair or fiber materials which are produced by a curving process. The baby hair has a curved shape and can include one, two or more curved intervals. The expanded length of the baby hair is 1-5 cm. The curving process is twining the real hair or fibers materials to a curved bar and then heating and sizing. The curved bar is cylindrical or an irregular polyhedron.
  • In an exemplary embodiment, the diameter of the baby hair is about 2.5-9 mm, and the diameter of the regular hair is about 45-70 denier. If the hair is not natural hair, the fiber can be made from PVC, MODACRYLIC, PET, either alone or mixed.
  • Attaching the baby hair to the basic member can be done by knitting knots using traditional knots. Chinese patent CN 101404904 shows one such method.
  • The baby hair can be attached to the basic member by strings. For example, fold the baby hair about the basic member and then using a sewing machine to attach them.
