Description
- The present invention is directed to a closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products, the characteristics of which provide said cited box with full safety, assuring that the load to be conveyed is not tampered with, thus preventing any possible theft. The system is provided with lids of a specific “design” that are affixed to the box and the parts of which fit together exactly and whose hinges having specially reinforced pins are attached to the box, as well as two areas for affixing seals, thus providing advantages inherent to its applicability, whose characteristics are innovative in the state of the art.
- The boxes for transporting tamper proof products presently found in the market are provided with a number of devices that make it difficult to handle same. In order to prevent tampering or theft, a large number of seals which are distributed through same are inserted. Their lids not always have a suitable closing system, thus facilitating any sort of tampering.
- The present closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products was devised to fulfill the market needs, since it fully optimizes the load or any product conveyed thereby. It is mostly convenient for logistics and fractioned distribution and industries in general, in the segments of clothes, correspondence, electronics, tobacco, medicines, books, perfume, and the like. The system also makes it possible to pile the boxes either loaded with products or empty with their lids wide open, without causing any problem.
- With that in mind, the applicant, after a number of studies and research, has devised the novel smart closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products which is fully safe, mainly with regard to its lids that undoubtedly assure this condition, since the closing tabs fit together perfectly, the hinges are directly attached to the box and have special reinforced plastic pins, besides being very practical and easy to handle. The seals are of the “Replik” type which are commonly used to replace keys, 100% tamper proof, and have an upper area for affixing the logo of the company or any bar code for controlling the products loaded into the box.
-
FIG. 1 depicts a perspective view of the closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products, with the box closed, showing Detail A. -
FIG. 2 also depicts a perspective view of the closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products, with the box opened, showing Detail B. -
FIG. 3 depicts a front view of the closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products, showing constructive Detail A of the hinge attached to both the box and the lid, with the specially reinforced plastic pins that assure the opening and closing of the lids, the pins also being shown in a side view. -
FIG. 4 depicts a perspective view of the closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products, showing Detail A of the hinge attached to both the box and lid, the positioning of the reinforced plastic pins being shown as well. -
FIG. 5 depicts a perspective view of the closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products, showing the positioning of the pins inside the hinge. -
FIG. 6 depicts a perspective view of the closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products, showing Detail B of the upper sealing system and the side sealing system that turns the box into a tamper proof box. -
FIG. 7 depicts a rear side perspective view of the seal used in the closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products. - In accordance with the illustrations given above and the details regarding same, the closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products is comprised of a rectangular-shaped box (1) that can also be in another shape, preferable made of a plastic material (polypropylene), but can also be made of another material. Lids (2) of a specific “design” are affixed to the box in such a way that the parts of said lids fit together perfectly, and hinges (3) internally provided with specially reinforced pins (4) that also fit into the hinges through a lower opening (5) are attached to both the box and the lids. Two of said pins (4) are independently inserted into each hinge, the main body of which has a trapezoidal conformation (4A) with a cylindrical tip (4B) at the end thereof that is inserted into the holes (6) of the fixed hinges of the box, said pins being responsible for the movement of the lids in a rotational direction, thus opening and closing the same.
- Two small oblong slits (7A) are provided on the opposite sides of the lids (2) and coincidental with two other slits (7B) of the box (1) that are provided on the upper edge (8) thereof, another slit (7C) that is coincidental with the slit (7D) of the lid that is perpendicular to the other slits (7A) also being respectively provided on the same side of the box, said slits being strategically designed to receive 100% tamper proof “Replik” type seals (9) therein, an area for affixing the logo of the company or any bar code for controlling the products loaded on the upper portion (9A) thereof, and a small serrated area (9B) for inserting the fingers on the lower portion thereof to make it easy to handle same. The seal (9) is a delicate piece also made of a plastic material, the small support points (9C) of which being easily broken when submitted to a little effort in the event any tamper is performed.
- The seals (9) are affixed to the respective areas after the products are placed inside the box (1) when the lids (2) are fully closed.
- As noticed, the closing system for tamper proof boxes for transporting products fulfills the proposed objects, providing technical and functional advantages, besides providing great practicality and safety, thus exhibiting innovative characteristics and endowed with basic requirements of novelty.
