Jeans usually have certain stylings with respect to the back pocket areas. The back pockets of jeans include many times different styles, stitching and colors. Usually an individual must have several pairs of jeans to add to the various styles and colors that may be in the pocket area of a jean. In order to vary these styles, it would be advantageous to have a system where the pockets may be removed and attached to create different styling of the jeans.
- The present invention relates to a system for interchangeable pockets and decorative attachments including: a pair of denim jeans, where the jeans include a rear pocket surface and a front pocket surface; a series of bottom receiving snaps at the rear pocket surface and the front pocket surface; a plurality of pockets, where the plurality of pockets include a series of pocket snaps on a back side of each pocket and the series of pocket snaps join with the series of bottom receiving snaps to form pockets on the jeans; and an ornamental front surface on each pocket.
-
FIG. 1 depicts a removable pocket system in accordance with present invention. - The present invention relates to a removable pocket system for jeans. The removable pocket system according to present invention includes pockets that are lined with snaps that snap into place onto a pair of jeans. Receiving snaps are provided on the jeans to receive snaps that are along the perimeter of the pockets. Once snapped in place the snaps are not visible on the outside surface of the jeans or pockets and therefore the pockets may easily blend in with the surface of the jeans. FIG. 1 , a depiction of a pair ofjeans 30 in accordance with the present invention is shown. Thesejeans 30 include arear section 34 that displayspocket areas pocket areas bottom snaps 38 that are aligned on thebackside 34. Thesebottom snaps 38 receive snaps that are coordinated on apocket 40 as shown inFIG. 1 . Thepocket 40 includes a series ofsnaps 45 along the perimeter of thepocket 40. Thepocket 40 further has abackside 42 that clearly depicts thetop snaps 45. Thepocket 40 provides an exemplary pocket in accordance with the present invention. Anoutside surface 44 is also shown inFIG. 1 . Theoutside surface 44 may include any desired decorative design for application over theoutside surface 40. Apocket opening 43 is also provided and shown inFIG. 1 . - The
pocket area fabric 37 within the interior of the pocket area. This reinforcedfabric 37 provides strong support for the attachment and removal of pockets in the pocket area. Further afront side 32 is also shown inFIG. 1 . Thefront side 32 ofjeans 30 also has afront pocket 23 that functions similarly to the back pockets described above. Therefore, a user has pockets that may be interchanged through the system in accordance with the present invention. One additional feature of the present invention is the ability to add adecorative attachment 26 or adecorative surface 46. In this particular embodiment, theattachment 26 includes asnap 27 at the center, however more than one snap may be necessary based upon theattachment 26 orsurface 46 overall size. Thesnap 27 adjoins to abottom snap 29 as shown inFIG. 1 . Thebottom snap 29 may be surrounded by reinforcedfabric 28 to have a strong, stable fabric area to supportdecorative attachment 26 and enable thedecorative attachment 26 to function as a pocket. Thesurface 46 demonstrates an exemplary shape of a decorative surface available for use with the present invention. The shape of thesurface 46 may vary in shape or form and is attachable to thejeans 30 in place of a full pocket. The system in accordance with the present invention may be used on any type of designer jeans and therefore an individual may also purchase additional pockets and decorative attachments with different styling and colors to add to their particular collection.
