Abstract

Disposable Undercollar—Collar Guard is a disposable self-adhesive hygiene device made from a soft comfortable absorbent odor blocking material that is worn on the inside collar of shirts, jackets, coats and hats that absorbs sweat, blocks odors and keeps them from becoming stained which prolongs the time between trips to the dry cleaner. This shield can be cut to length so that it will fit any size collar or hat.

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • “Disposable Undercollar” pertains directly to the consumer side of the clothing hygiene industry. The problem that “Disposable Undercollar” solves is that shirts, blouses, Jackets and coats worn daily can become stained around the collar from sweat, makeup and the environment as well as having an unsanitary odor, causing them to require cleaning more frequently and can also be used in the same manner for the inside band of hats and other head wear.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • “Disposable Undercollar” is designed to guard or protect the under or inside collar area of an article of clothing from sweat, makeup, environmental staining and unsanitary odor, thus prolonging the interval between cleanings. “Disposable Undercollar” is also designed to guard or protect the inside band of hats and other head wear from staining due to sweat, make up and the environment as well as unsanitary odor.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING
  • FIG. 1 shows a drawing containing size information for the “Disposable Undercollar—Collar Guard” showing that it is approximately one inch wide with an unlimited length so that the consumer can cut it to fit any collar or hat band. It also shows the front and back view of the product. Take note that the back view shows as having a self-adhesive strip that is the width of the product.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • “Disposable Undercollar” is made from a soft absorbent material (much like that of a panty liner) with a self-adhesive strip on the back side to attach to the under or inside collar of an article of clothing or the inside band of a hat or other head wear. “Disposable Undercollar” is a one size fits all product that can be pulled from a roll and cut to fit any sized collar or hat band. “Disposable Undercollar” is simply measured then cut and applied to the article of clothing or head wear needing to be protected from staining and odor. Claims (3)

1. I claim the embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows: A disposable self-adhesive hygiene device which comprises a soft absorbent odor locking material with an adhesive backing which adheres to the materials of clothing and head wear. Used to block sweat, makeup, environmental staining and odors from the inside collar area of articles of clothing and the inside hat band are of hats which will prolong the interval between cleanings.
2. I claim the embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows: A disposable self-adhesive hygiene device which comprises a material consisting essentially of the same soft absorbent odor locking material found in panty liners or shields with an adhesive backing which adheres to the materials of clothing and head wear. Used to block sweat, makeup, environmental staining and odors from the inside collar area of articles of clothing and the inside hat band are of hats which will prolong the interval between cleanings.
3. I claim the embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows: A disposable self-adhesive hygiene device which comprises a black, white and clear material consisting essentially of the same soft absorbent odor locking material found in panty liners or shields with an adhesive backing which adheres to the materials of clothing and head wear. Used to block sweat, makeup, environmental staining and odors from the inside collar area of articles of clothing and the inside hat band are of hats which will prolong the interval between cleanings.
