Abstract

This invention is a bracelet and/or anklet used to carry a cell phone either on one's wrist or on one's ankle. The invention is made out of a stretch material strap stitched to a stretch material pocket where the cell phone is stored. This invention replaces the cumbersome approach currently used by people who carry their cell phone in a holster attached to their waist or clipped to pocket books, articles of clothing, etc. This invention offers a new concept in carrying a cell phone for the young and old. An easily fastened strap with a Velcro type material on one end, and a buckle opening on the other end, provides for a conveniently worn bracelet or anklet. The pocket will be stitched onto the strap and fit along the wrist or ankle for easy access and style.

Description

The subject invention is a holster bracelet/anklet which is designed to provide a convenient means for consumers to carry cell phones. This invention is a holster which is worn either around the wrist or ankle of the cell phone carrier. This invention is made from stretch material with a Velcro type closure on one side of a strap for easy fastening through a buckle. The pocket portion will fit various size cell phones and will be developed with either a clear front to read the cell phone face panel, or a stretch cloth front to cover the cell phone panel. The pocket will contain a security strap that will keep the cell phone in place.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

This invention provides an enhanced and convenient way of carrying cell phones. Since the beginning of the modern cell phone era consumers have had to carry cell phones either attached someway to their waist line, or females for the most part carried cell phones in their pocket books. Many people find this method of carrying cell phones too inconvenient and in many cases they lose their cell phone. In regions where less clothing is worn or when people are on vacation at beach resorts, night clubs, casinos, etc., they have to carry their cell phones by hand because they don't have enough clothing on to wear an attachment and many females do not always carry a pocket book with them. This invention should also appeal to the younger generation who will find this approach to carrying cell phones very stylish. Therefore, it has become necessary to provide the alternative this invention provides.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

This invention provides a more convenient way of carrying a cell phone. Specifically it provides a cell phone bracelet and anklet.
In light of the foregoing, the primary feature and advantage of the current invention is to provide an improved method of carrying a cell phone via this invented dual-purpose bracelet and anklet.
Another feature of this invention is the ease in answering phone calls because of the proximity of the cell phone being on the wrist or ankle, especially while in vibrate mode. It clearly would be easier than reaching into pockets or looking through a pocket book for a phone.
One of the aspects of this invention will also replace the need for a wrist watch, since a cell phone could display the time of day through the clear plastic window of the pocket. The time could be viewed depending upon how the cell phone is placed in the pocket or the type of cell phone being used.
The Velcro type strap design of this invention provides easy installation and will fit various size wrists and ankles.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Most cell phones today are carried in a variety of ways. Some are placed in holsters that are fastened to belt buckles worn at the waist, while others are simply worn in a pocket of clothing. Ladies have the greatest challenge in carrying cell phones and choose to fasten them to their pocket books or simply store them within their pocket books. All these means are quite cumbersome and don't work very well for most people.
This new invention offers a state of the art way for carrying cell phones while also offering an easily accessible means to use the cell phone when needed. The invention concept allows the user an alternative choice on how they want to carry and use their cell phone. This invention allows the user the ability to wear their cell phone either around their wrist or around their ankle. This new invention (cell phone bracelet/anklet) is a holster which straps around either the wrist or ankle. The strap is made from soft cloth and has a Velcro type strap on one end to allow for easy installation and removal. The design of this invention includes a pocket which fits the cell phone and locks the cell phone in place with a secured strap. The pocket material will be made out of either clear plastic or soft stretch material, depending on consumer preference. The clear plastic provides a window for the user to view their cell phone for time checks or caller identification without taking the cell phone from the pocket.
The invention has been drawn above and illustrates the preferred desire and benefits from the previous use of cell phone carriers. It is understood that modifications, substitutes, and additions may be made which are within the spirit and intent of this invention.

Claims

1. Cell phone bracelet/anklet has been invented with a pocket holster to provide an innovative approach for carrying cell phones in the future.

2. The cell phone bracelet/anklet according to claim 1 wherein said invention allows cells phones to be carried on either the wrist or ankle.

3. The cell phone bracelet/anklet according to claim 1 is made from stretch material, which is attached to either the wrist or ankle by a strap.

4. The cell phone bracelet/anklet according to claim 1 has a stretch material pocket stitched to the strap for a cell phone to be inserted into.

5. The cell phone bracelet/anklet according to claim 1 has a buckle opening on one end of the strap to loop into for fastening the strap around either the wrist or ankle.

6. The cell phone bracelet/anklet according to claim 1 has a Velcro type finish on the opposite end of the strap from the buckle to allow for fastening onto either a wrist or an ankle.

7. The cell phone bracelet/anklet according to claim 1 has been designed to offer a clear plastic pocket alternative to view the cell phone from the pocket.

8. The cell phone bracelet/anklet according to claim 1 has been designed to offer a stretch material cover for the pocket.
