Abstract

A thermoplastic complex yarn with thermoforming function and thermoplastic fabric therewith are provided. The thermoplastic complex yarn is formed according to a low temperature hot melt fiber wound around the peripheral of a high strength fiber. The thermoplastic complex yarn can be further alternant-plaited with a general yarn to form as a thermoplastic fabric. And, when the thermoplastic complex yarn or the thermoplastic fabric is under hot pressing by a hot-pressing die, the low temperature hot melt fiber can be thermoformed, and further collocated with the high strength fiber for supporting, thus, the thermoplastic complex yarn or the thermoplastic fabric can be formed into various shapes by various hot-pressing dies for increasing the application field thereof, and which can be as the major material of the external package box, such that achieves the purpose of ecology environment protection.

Description

    REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This Application is based on Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 60/712,444 filed on 31 Aug. 2005.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a thermoplastic complex yarn with thermoforming function and thermoplastic fabric therewith, which are not only used for increasing the application field thereof, but also used as the major material of external package boxes for achieving the purpose of ecology environment protection.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Due to the progress of generation, some of conventional goods and materials are developed for various different application fields and directions. For example, in accordance with a general fabric, the application field thereof is simply used for windproof purpose, and then, which is getting to become as adornment. The application field of that is further transferred to be as external package material for general goods from human cloth. Thus, the look-and-feel of the appearance of goods can be advanced, and on the other hand, the fabric can be further provided for additional protection.
  • However, the general fabric is without plasticity, and either cannot support for the three-dimensional appearance forming, therefore, once that have to be used for the external package goods or boxes, the bottom of the cloth generally has to be adhered a colloid or a thermoplastic material, and then, the colloid or the thermoplastic should be proceeded by manufacturing process to form a specific three-dimensional appearance and a support for ensuring that the fabric is with the same three-dimensional appearance and supporting.
  • Although conventional fabric can be formed into three-dimensional appearance, but there are still some shortcomings as following;
    • 1. As the colloid or the thermoplastic material adhered to the bottom of the fabric, the manufacturing processes of that is much complication, and the external surface of the bottom of the fabric will be coarse, such that will be maintained disadvantageously.
    • 2. According to the colloid or the thermoplastic material adhered to the bottom of the fabric, as that is staid a period of time or under dreadful environment, the thermoplastic material will be fell off from the fabric.
    SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly, how to design a thermoplastic complex yarn with thermoforming function and thermoplastic fabric therewith, in accordance with the previous mentioned shortcomings of the prior art, such not only advantages adhering process for the fabric and the material, but also increases the application fields and the supporting strength, is the key point of the present invention. Therefore,
  • It is a primary object of the present invention to provide a thermoplastic complex yarn with thermoforming function, which can improve the structure and support strength of the thermoplastic complex yarn, and further comprise thermoforming function for increasing application fields of that.
  • It is a secondary object of the present invention to provide a thermoplastic fabric with thermoforming function, which can be processed by a hot-pressing procedure, and further provided on the appearance of a good, such that not only improves the convenience of forming, but also advances the adhesive of the thermoplastic fabric, which can reduce the probability of the thermoplastic fabric falling off under dreadful environment.
  • It is another object of the present invention to provide a fabric with thermoforming function, which can be processed by a hot-pressing die to form a specific three-dimensional shape for suitable of packaging box, such that replaces papers or plastic materials of packaging box generally, which can further achieve the purpose of ecology environment protection.
  • To achieve the previous mentioned objects, the present invention provides a thermoplastic complex yarn with thermoforming function, comprising at least one high strength fiber for supporting the structure strength of the thermoplastic complex yarn; and at least one low temperature hot melt fiber wound around the peripheral of the high strength fiber, wherein the low temperature hot melt is made by a material with hot melt feather.
  • To achieve the previous mentioned objects, the present invention provides a thermoplastic fabric with thermoforming function, alternant-wound by a complex yarn and a yarn, wherein the complex yarn is formed by a plurality of low temperature hot melt fibers wound around a plurality of high strength fibers.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The structural features and the effects to be achieved may further be understood and appreciated by reference to the presently preferred embodiments together with the detailed description.
  • Referring to FIG. 1, is a three-dimensional view of a preferred embodiment of the present invention thermoplastic complex yarn with thermoforming function. A low temperature hot melt fiber 113 winds around the peripheral of a high strength fiber 111 to form a thermoplastic complex yarn 11 with thermoforming function. When the thermoplastic complex yarn 11 is processed by a hot-pressing procedure, such can be transformed easily to a desired figure, according to the low temperature hot melt fiber 113 with thermoforming feather. Further, the high strength fiber 111 will be formed as the desired figure (as reference symbol 101 shown on FIG. 6B) following the low temperature hot melt fiber 113, which further efficiently improves the support and structure strength of the thermoplastic complex yarn 11 (as reference symbol F2 shown on FIG. 6B). Thus, the thermoplastic complex yarn 11 will be with high tension, high tenacity, and easy thermoforming.
  • Referring to FIG. 2, is a three-dimensional view of the present invention thermoplastic complex yarn within winding around. The thermoplastic complex yarn 11 is provided according to a plurality of high strength fibers wound around together to form as another high strength fiber 111 or a high strength fiber bundle 112. And further, a plurality of low temperature hot melt fibers 113 is wound around the peripheral of the high strength fiber 111/112 for being with the feathers of thermoforming and supporting.
  • And, the way of providing the thermoplastic complex yarn 11, can be selectively as a plurality of high strength fibers 111 or a high strength fiber bundle 112 to be the center of the thermoplastic complex yarn 11, and the peripheral of the high strength fibers 111 or a high strength fiber bundle 112 is wound around by at least one layer of the low temperature hot melt fiber 113 or the low temperature hot melt fiber bundle 114/115 in clockwise direction or counter clockwise direction. In accordance with this embodiment, a first low temperature hot melt fiber bundle 114 is wound around the peripheral of a high strength fiber bundle 112 in counter clockwise direction, and then, a second low temperature hot melt fiber bundle 115 is wound around the peripheral of the first low temperature hot melt fiber bundle 114 in clockwise direction, thus, the purpose of improving the forming of high strength fiber bundle 112 is achieved.
  • Within an embodiment of the present invention, the high strength fiber 111 can be selectively as a material with high tension and tenacity, such as a glass fiber, a carbon fiber, a nylon fiber, a metal fiber, and a combination thereof. The low temperature hot melt fiber 113 can be selectively as a material with the feather of hot melt or low temperature hot melt, such as a low melting point polyester fiber, a polypropylene fiber, an acrylic fiber, and a combination thereof.
  • Referring to FIG. 3, is a three-dimensional view of a preferred embodiment of the present invention thermoplastic fabric with thermoforming function. The thermoplastic fabric 10 is alternant plaited by at least one thermoplastic complex yarn 11 and at least one connecting yarn 12; thus, the thermoplastic fabric 10 can be also with the feathers of thermoforming and supporting, as well as the thermoplastic complex yarn 11.
  • And, the plaiting way of the thermoplastic complex yarn 11 and the connecting yarn 12 can be selectively as conventional textile skill. Within an embodiment of the present invention, the plaiting way of the thermoplastic complex yarn 11 and the connecting yarn 12 can be selectively as the weaving skill. The thermoplastic fabric 10 is a weaving double fabric, which comprises an external layer 123 provided on the upper layer, and a thermoplastic layer 121 provided on the lower layer, wherein the thermoplastic layer 121 is plaited by a thermoplastic complex yarn 11 and a connecting yarn 12, and the external layer 123 is plaited by a surface layer yarn 13 and the connecting yarn 12. And, the partial connecting yarn 12 can pass through the thermoplastic complex yarn 11 and the surface layer yarn 13 to tightly combine both of which for presenting various figure patterns, according to the providing of the surface layer yarn 13, and further increasing the application fields of the thermoplastic complex yarn 11 or the thermoplastic fabric 10, according to the thermoforming and supporting of the thermoplastic complex yarn 11.
  • Referring to FIG. 4, is a three-dimensional view of another preferred embodiment of the present invention thermoplastic fabric. The thermoplastic fabric 20 can be made selectively by a knit skill. Within an embodiment of the present invention, the knitting double fabric 20 comprises a surface layer yarn 13 and a thermoplastic complex yarn 11 at least. That is, the purpose of increasing the application fields and improving the feather of thermoforming for the thermoplastic fabric 20 can be achieved.
  • Referring to FIG. 5, is a three-dimensional view of another preferred embodiment of the present invention thermoplastic fabric. The thermoplastic complex yarn 11 can be plaited individually into a thermoplastic layer 31, and then, the thermoplastic layer 31 and a fabric 33 plaited by a yarn 13 are stacked each other to from a thermoplastic fabric 30. The thermoplastic layer 31 and the fabric 33 are adhered by a hot-pressing procedure to form as a thermoplastic fabric 30. Surely, the fabric 33 can also be an external layer 123, the appearance of which can be formed with including at least one figure pattern.
  • The fabric 33 and a good (none shown) can be adhered by the applying of the thermoplastic layer 31. For example, the thermoplastic layer 31 is provided between the fabric 33 and the good, and then, processing the above mentioned hot-pressing procedure for adhering the fabric 33 on the external of the good, thus, the procedure of adhering a colloid can be saved, and further improve the adhesive strength between both of which.
  • Finally, referring to FIG. 6A and FIG. 6B, are respectively the flow charts of a preferred embodiment of the present invention thermoplastic fabric within thermoforming process. The present invention discloses an external force F from as a first hot-pressing die 41 and a second hot-pressing die 43 to process thermoforming procedure for a thermoplastic fabric 10 to form a specific three-dimensional figure 101.
  • First, the first hot-pressing die 41 and the corresponding second hot-pressing die 43 respectively comprise the corresponding first figure pattern 411 and second figure pattern 431, which can be used to embedded both of which. A thermoplastic fabric 10 is placed between the first hot-pressing die 41 and the second hot-pressing die 43, and then, pressing and heating for the first hot-pressing die 41 and the second hot-pressing die 43, further, idling a period of time for cooling the hot-pressing dies 41/43 and the thermoplastic fabric 10. When the first hot-pressing die 41 and the second hot-pressing die 43 are took apart, the thermoplastic fabric placed between both of which will be formed into a three-dimensional figure as well as the first figure pattern 411 and the second figure pattern 431, wherein the three-dimensional figure 101 will be with a fixed three-dimensional appearance. The support strength of such appearance can be provided by the high strength fiber 111, thus, the three-dimensional figure 101 is not only able to withstand the hit from external force, but also be able to retain the appearance without deformation.
  • In accordance with the three-dimensional figure 101 with the fixed appearance provided on thermoplastic fabric 10, the application fields of the thermoplastic fabric 10 can be increased. For example, the thermoplastic fabric 10 with the three-dimensional figure 101 can be used to as a container, or an adornment, and applied for packaging box to replace the conventional plastic and paper material, which may be much dreadful environment, thus, the purpose of ecology environment protection can be achieved.
  • Surely, when the thermoplastic fabric 10 is selectively used to be made into a container, the external or the internal of that can be coated around a colloid (none shown), after the three-dimensional figure formed on the thermoplastic fabric 10. Wherein, the colloid can be as a resin for improving the support strength of the three-dimensional figure 101. And, within an embodiment of the present invention, the external surface of the thermoplastic fabric 10 is coated around the colloid, and then, processing the hot-pressing procedure.
  • Similarly, within the above mentioned embodiment, the thermoplastic fabric 10 is as the object of description, as well as, within practical application, the thermoplastic fabric 20 and the thermoplastic fabric 30 can be processed by the same procedure, such as a hot-pressing, for forming the three-dimensional figure.
  • In summary, it is appreciated that the present invention is related to a thermoplastic complex yarn with thermoforming function and thermoplastic fabric therewith, which are not only used for increasing the application field thereof, but also used as the major material of external package boxes for achieving the purpose of ecology environment protection.
  • The foregoing description is merely one embodiment of present invention- and not considered as restrictive. All equivalent variations and modifications in process, method, feature, and spirit in accordance with the appended claims may be made without in any way from the scope of the invention.

Claims (20)

1. A thermoplastic complex yarn with thermoforming function, comprising:
at least one high strength fiber for supporting the structure strength of said thermoplastic complex yarn; and
at least one low temperature hot melt fiber wound around the peripheral of said high strength fiber, wherein said low temperature hot melt is made by a material with hot melt feather.
2. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 1, wherein said low temperature hot melt fiber can be selectively made by one of a glass fiber, a carbon fiber, a metal fiber, and a combination thereof.
3. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 1, wherein said high strength fiber can be selectively made by one of a low melting point polyester fiber, a polypropylene fiber, an acrylic fiber, and a combination thereof.
4. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 1, wherein said thermoplastic complex yarn can be plaited to be as a thermoplastic layer.
5. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 4, wherein said thermoplastic layer can be stacked with a fabric to form as a thermoplastic fabric.
6. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 1, wherein said thermoplastic complex yarn can be alternant-plaited with a yarn to form as a thermoplastic fabric.
7. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 6, wherein said thermoplastic fabric can be selectively made by the way of one of the knit and the weave.
8. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 6, wherein said yarn is as a surface layer yarn, which can be alternant-plaited with said thermoplastic complex yarn to form as said thermoplastic fabric by a connecting yarn.
9. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 6, wherein said thermoplastic fabric can be formed as at least one three-dimensional figure according to an external force.
10. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 9, wherein the external surface of said three-dimensional figure coats with a colloid.
11. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 1, further comprising a high strength fiber bundle, alternant-wound by a plurality of high strength fibers, wherein the peripheral of said high strength fiber is wound around said low temperature hot melt fiber.
12. The thermoplastic complex yarn of claim 1, wherein said low temperature hot melt fiber can selectively wind around the peripheral of said high strength fiber in one of the clockwise direction, the counter-clockwise direction, and a combination thereof.
13. A thermoplastic fabric with thermoforming function, alternant-wound by a complex yarn and a yarn, wherein said complex yarn is formed by a plurality of low temperature hot melt fibers wound around a plurality of high strength fibers.
14. The thermoplastic fabric of claim 13, wherein the plaiting way for said complex yarn and a yarn can be selectively as one of the knit and the weave.
15. The thermoplastic fabric of claim 13, wherein further provides a external force to form at least one three-dimensional figure within said thermoplastic fabric.
16. The thermoplastic fabric of claim 15, wherein the external surface of said three-dimensional figure is coated with a colloid.
17. The thermoplastic fabric of claim 13, wherein said complex yarn can be plaited as a thermoplastic layer, which can be further stacked with a fabric to form as said thermoplastic fabric.
18. The thermoplastic fabric of claim 13, wherein said yarn is a surface layer yarn, which can be alternant-plaited with said complex yarn by a connecting yarn.
19. The thermoplastic fabric of claim 13, wherein said low temperature hot melt fiber can selectively wind around the peripheral of said high strength fiber in one of the clockwise direction, the counter-clockwise direction, and a combination thereof.
20. The thermoplastic fabric of claim 13, wherein said low temperature hot melt fiber can be selectively made by one of a glass fiber, a carbon fiber, a metal fiber, and a combination thereof, and said high strength fiber can be selectively made by one of a low melting point polyester fiber, a polypropylene fiber, an acrylic fiber, and a combination thereof.
