Abstract
The present invention is a slide fastener enclosure structure which can be provided in the portion of closing teeth of zipper to shield the opening formed by tapes and slider. Furthermore, said enclosure structure can be provided in either one side of zipper as well as in both sides of zipper.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention is relating to an improvement of slide fastener enclosure, especially to an enclosure structure which enables the closing portion of slide fastener being fully shielded and the slider as well as puller can be received by said enclosure.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- The slider fastener, also called zipper exists in our living everywhere. For example, our dairy personal article, such as dress, handbag, widely use the zipper.
- In fact, in the variety of circumstances, sometimes, conventional slide fastener can not achieve the required function. For example, the qualified pillow, excepting the outer shell or cover must be washable, the lining or the inner cushion also need to be washed periodically to meet the sanitary requirement. However, the conventional zipper seems not able to prevent the loose and escape of lining.
- In practice, the conventional slide fastener, especially to be used for the above-mentioned pillow, under machinery washing, may cause the teeth open. Meanwhile, the tail enclosure, e.g. the connecting portion between slider of close teeth and the opening of pillow, always forms an opening and the lining will escape from it. Furthermore, because the puller of slider is not shielded as an active component, therefore, it will hit the inner wall of machine and involve the other washed article.
- In viewing of the foregoing shortcomings, the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience on the related industry and the spirit of improving the product to prevent the conventional disadvantages, the present invention provides a solution by using the enclosure to the slide fastener which enables the slider being received inside the gap slit between the enclosures.
-
FIG. 1 is the front view of the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is the rear view of the present invention. -
FIG. 3 is the prospective view of the present invention embodied in a enclosure of a bag. - Refer to
FIG. 1 , basically, the enclosure structure of the present invention is provided in the end portion of the slider closing the teeth and includes an upper enclosure piece 1, a bottom enclosure piece 2 individually connect to zipper tape A. - Wherein, the upper enclosure piece 1 is a film like in shape, preferably made by fabric or textile, especially made by stretch cloth. The both sides of said enclosure piece are fixed on the edge of zipper tape A to form an upper slit between thereof and enable to receive the slider C. Therefore, if the enclosure piece 1 is not made by stretch textile, then, there is some tolerance higher than the height of slider C. However, if said enclosure piece 1 is made by stretch material, then, by its resilience, at least the puller D can be received therein. The length of said enclosure piece 1 is preferably sufficient to shield at least puller D and at best to shield the slider C.
- The bottom enclosure piece 2 is also the film like in shape and without resilience but provided in reverse side of said upper enclosure piece 1. They are fixed on the both sides of tape A. Between bottom enclosure piece 2, teeth B and tape A, forms a bottom slit 21 which enable the body of slider C pass through.
- As the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the width of bottom enclosure piece 2 is larger than the width of tape A and the length is sufficient to cover the upper slit 11. One end of said bottom enclosure piece 2 is provided enable to shield the end portion of slider C when fastening the teeth to make no opening between tapes A and slider C. The length of said bottom enclosure piece 2 is longer than the length of said upper bottom enclosure piece 1, therefore, the length of bottom slit 21 in longer than the upper slit 11.
- Please refer to
FIG. 3 , when practice, the enclosure piece of the present invention can be sewn on the opening of the bag and the upper enclosure piece is exposed. After pulling the slider C and closing the teeth, the puller D and slider C can be received within the upper slit 11. Ever reversed or the movement of slider in a certain distance, because the bottom enclosure piece 2 fully shields the teeth B and tape A, therefore, the contents inside the bag is not available to escape outwardly. - While the invention has been described by way of examples and in terms of preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited thereto. To the contrary, it is intended to cover various modification and similar arrangement, and the scopes of the appended claims therefore should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar arrangement and procedures.
- In summation of the above description, the present invention herein enhances the performance than the conventional structure and further complies with the patent application requirements and is submitted to the Patent and Trademark Office for reviewing and granting the commensurate patent right.
