Abstract
A club-carrying apparatus includes a bag and a support device. The support device includes two legs, two rods, a ferrule, a pad and an anchor. The legs are pivotally connected with the bag. Each of the rods includes an upper end, a lower end and a waist between the ends. The upper end of each of the rods is attached to one of the legs. The ferrule binds the waists of the rods. The lower ends of the rods are attached to the pad. The anchor is installed on the bag in order to hook the rods.
Description
- The present invention relates to golf and, more particularly, to an apparatus for carrying golf clubs.
- Referring to
FIGS. 3 and 4 , a conventional club-carrying apparatus includes abag 1 and asupport device 2 for helping thebag 1 stand. Thesupport device 2 includes twolegs 3, tworods 5, arestraint 6, aferrule 7 and apad 4. Thelegs 3 are pivotally connected with thebag 1. Therestraint 6 is a U-shaped element attached to thebag 1. In assembly, therods 5 are inserted through theferrule 7 so that their waists are held in position relative to each other by means of theferrule 7. Lower ends of therods 5 are inserted through therestraint 6. The lower ends of therods 5 are attached to thepad 4. Upper ends of therods 5 are moved from each other and attached to thelegs 3 from external sides. However, the lower ends of therods 5 must insert through therestraint 6 before they can be attached to thepad 4. - The present invention is therefore intended to obviate or at least alleviate the problems encountered in prior art.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a club-carrying apparatus that can be easily assembled.
- According to the present invention, a club-carrying apparatus includes a bag and a support device.
- Other objects, advantages, and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the attached drawings.
- The present invention will be described via detailed illustration of the preferred embodiment referring to the attached drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of a club-carrying apparatus according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the club-carrying apparatus ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 3 is an exploded view of a conventional club-carrying apparatus. -
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the club-carrying apparatus ofFIG. 3 . - Referring to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , a club-carryingapparatus 10 includes abag 20 and asupport device 30. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , thebag 20 is used for carrying and storing various golf clubs. Twohinges 21 are formed at an upper end of thebag 20. Aframe 25 is formed at a lower end of thebag 20. - The
support device 30 includes twolegs 31, apad 32, tworods 33, aferrule 34 and ananchor 22. - The
legs 31 are pivotally connected with thebag 20 by means of thehinges 21. - The
ferrule 34 is hollow. Therods 33 are inserted through theferrule 34 so that their waists are kept in position relative to each other. - The
anchor 22 is molded together with theframe 25. Alternatively, theanchor 22 may be molded independent of theframe 25 and then attached to theframe 25. Theanchor 22 includes twoprotrusions 24 formed thereon. Agap 23 exists between eachprotrusion 24 and theframe 25. Thegaps 23 are used for receiving therods 33. - The
rods 33 are attached to thepad 32 before they are restrained by means of theanchor 22. To this end, therods 33 are tilted so that theanchor 22 can easily extend through a gap between therods 33. - Referring to
FIG. 2 , when therods 33 are aligned with thegaps 23, therods 33 are moved to an upright position. Thus, therods 33 easily enter thegaps 23. Therods 33 are thus restrained by means of theanchor 22. - The present invention has been described through detailed illustration of the preferred embodiment. Those skilled in the art can derive variations from the preferred embodiment without departing from the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the preferred embodiment shall not limit the scope of the present invention defined in the claims.
