IMPROVEMENT IN CHEESE-CUTTERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 180,888, dated August 8, 1876; application filed May 22, 1876.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, HENRY S. JONES, of Vincennes, in the county of Knox and State of Indiana, have invented a new and Improved Cheese-Gutter, of which the following is a specification:
The object of this invention is to provide a cheese cutter by which retailers of cheese and others may cut off pieces that will weigh exactly, or nearly so, the amount required, and,
at the same time, cut them of uniform wedge Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.
A is the revolving table, having the graduated scale on its face, and being mounted to turn around the center 0 on the rollers D, fixed on the bed E. F is the radial cutter attached to lever G, which is pivoted to the standard H, in which is a series of holes, I, for shifting" the pivot-bolts J up and down, to vary the height of the cutter.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The combination, with a cutter-lever, G, and table A, of the standard H, adjustable horizontally, and allowing the lever-fulcrum to be adjusted vertically with respect to table, as and for the purpose specified.
