WITNESSES V HARRY UBRINCK L. BuR K E INVENTOR e ALDR ITT BYWMX a ATTORNEY Patented May 24, 1932 V UNITED. STATES- Application filed March 15; 1950. se'riarno. enes."
This invention relates to new and useful improvements of a vestpocket clover leaf golf tee, and the like primarily designed for use as a tee, on the teeing ground, which is the starting place for a hole.
An object of the invention coniprehends the provision and arrangements of means to provide a golf tee easily carried in a folderof vestpocket size.
Another object of the invention is to provide, golfers with a golfing tee with an adj ustable cup formed in the shape of a clover leaf, to form any desired angle for teeing off.
An additional object of the invention consists of the provision of a reinforced pin to drive easily into solid ground, also to hold firm in soft ground. 1
With the above and other objects in view,
' the invention further consists of the following novel features and details of construction to be hereafter more fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings and pointed out in the appended claim.
In the drawings Fig. 1 is an open view of a folder, vestpocket size, with pencil holder and score cards showing arrangement of vestpocket clover leaf golf tee placed into carrier.
Fig. 2 is a top view showing golf tee from one piece metal formed in condition to place in vestpocket carrier.
Fig. 3 is a cross section of improved cup of golf tee taken through on line 7-7 showing form of cup of clover leaf. 7
Fig. 4 is a cross section of reinforced pin'of golf tee taken through on line 8-8.
. Fig. 5 is a perspective view of clover leaf golf tee formed in .position ready for use in teeing off.
Fig. 6 is a cross section view through ground showing reinforced pin adjusted to depth in ground with golf ball placed on an adjustable clover leaf formed into a cup to hold golf tee, ready forteeing off.
This invention is primarily intended to assure an adjustable vestpocket clover leaf golf tee by means of construction.
The arrangements of construction is designed for carrying, when not in use, for ad-.
justment, when in use.

drawings, that the folder 9 is made L up by several compartments to hold separate ablock of commonly used golf score cards10, a pencil holderll, and a golf tee holder 12, madeup i .from'paper sheeting closed at lower end 13,
and upper ends 14.
v "to I It is obviously apparent from'Fig. 1, of the,
The clover leaf golf tee 15, 6,15 made of one piece of metal consisting of pin 16,
a stem 17, and a cup 18, Fig. 2 and Fig. 5."
The stem 17,'Fig. 2 and Fig. 5 remains a flat surface to insure an accurate. bending golf tee as shown in Fig. 5. andFig.6.'
The cup 18, F ig.,2 and Fig. 5 is formed to a radius or curve 20 to give a form fitting toa golf ball 21 as showniin Fig. 6. i It is obviously apparent from Fig; 1 of the drawings that clover leaf golf tee can be carried in a vestpocket holder making it an easy arrangement for a golfer to carry any number of golf tees as desired without bulging pockets. Y V
Having so demonstrated and clearly shown V in the drawings a clover leaf golftee, it will. be understood that withoutmuch effort, by holding said tee within the fingers of both.
hands, any desired angle for golf tee may be obtained forteeing off on the golf links :by bending into position. i
