Be it known that I, JOHN H. SELLERS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Wellston, in the county of Jackson and State of Ohio, have invented a new and useful Improved Revolving Bin, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to a revoluble pivot connection to be employed in revolving stands such as bins, employed for containing relatively small articles, such as nails, screws, bolts or the like.

The primary object of the invention is l to provide a bin of this character, including a plurality of super-imposed circular sections supported on a vertical support, the trays being provided with especially constructed bearings, to prevent the sections from sagging on their support, when the weight of one section is great enough to over-balance the weight of the contents of the opposed section.`

A further object of the invention is to provide an article wherein the sections are rotatable, thereby permitting the user to stand in one place, and at the same time have access to the various sections of the trays.

A still further object of the invention is to provide a device of this character wherein the trays may be adjusted longitudinally of the support, to permit an unlimited number of trays to be mounted thereon.

With the foregoing and other objects in view which will appear as the description proceeds, the invention resides in the combination and arrangement of parts and in the details of construction hereinafter described and claimed, it being understood that changes in the precise embodiment of the invention herein disclosed, may be made within the scope of what is claimed, without departing from the spirit of the invention.

Each of the trays, is provided with a, central cut-out portion 11, which cut-out portion is provided with annular flanges l2 and 13, adjacent vthe respective end's thereof, which ianges embrace the supporting member 6, but are permitted to revolve therearound, at the will of the operator.v

It has been found, in practice, that due to the construction of the flanges 12 and 13,

which form the bearings for the trays, the trays are prevented from sagging, when the weight in one section thereof, is great enough to overcome the weight of the article in the opposed section thereof, thereby permitting the trays to revolve freely on their support..

While I have shown only two trays, in the illustration of the invention, it-is to be understood that any practical number of trays may be used on the support, each tray of course being separated from the adjacent tray by means of a washer, as shown at 7.

It might further be stated that in the construction of the bin, the diameters of the trays, may diminish, toward the top of the support, thereby allowing free access to the' varlous compartments of the bins.

Having thus descrlbed the invention, what is claimed is In a bin, a base, a vertically extendingy adjacent the upper and lower edges of the trays, said flanges adapted to Contact with the threaded support to restrict lateral movement of the trays, and said trays adapted to be positioned between the Washers for securing the same to the support.
