DUST-EXCLUDER.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES W. JORDAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at W'illiamsburg, in the county of Whitley and State of Kentucky, have invented a new and useful Dust-Excluder, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a dust excluder of that class intended to be worn as a covering for the nose and mouth to protect the same from dust and dirt.
The main object of the invention is to provide a protector of this character which may be easily and readily adjusted and removed. a
A further object is the provision of a simple, durable and efiicient dust excluder.
With the foregoing and other objects in view which will appear as the description proceeds, the invention resides in the combination and arrangement of parts and in the details of construction hereinafter described and claimed, it being understood that changes in the precise embodiment of the invention herein disclosed can be made within the scope of what is claimed without departing from the spirit of the invention.
A practical embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, wherein Figure 1 is a perspective view of the device applied;

Gauze 4 is secured tothe frame 1 and supported by the support 2 and, covering the nose and mouth of the wearer, serves to exclude dirt and dust.
A device of this character is extremely useful inmills, factories, about threshing machines and in any place where an excess1 ve quantity of dust is continually in the air.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new and sought by Letters Patent, is
A device of the class described, comprising an arch member embodying in a onc piece structure, a forwardly extended bend and rearwardly extended ear engaging arms; a loop-shaped frame secured at its sides and intermediate its ends to the-arch member at the rear of the bend; and a'covering peripherally assembled with the loopshaped frame and supported by the bend.
