To all whom it may concern;

Be it known that we, HARRY T. KEMP and HERMAN P. RANDALL, both citizens of the United States, residing at Pasadena, in the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have invented a new and useful Drawer-Guide, of which the following is a specification.

@ur, invention relates to drawer guides, and the rincipal object of the invention is to provide a cheap and convenient guide which may be attached to the ordinary form of drawer and used with a wooden guide strip, such as is now commonly installed in drawer structures.

in the form of the invention illustrated in the drawings, a drawer structure 11 is equipped with a drawer 12 which has a front 13, sides 14:, bottom 15 and a back 26. The bottom 15 is located a short distance, represented by A, from the bottom of the front 13. A drawer slide 16 is secured in the structure 11 projecting above the front cross bar 17 a distance somewhat less than the distance A. This slide is grooved, as shown at 18, on either side, and a guide 19 is secured to the back 26 of the drawer, this guide being formed of sheet metal having a top 20, sides In practice, the guide 19 is secured to the back of the drawer and is slid into place, serving to guide the drawer and to support it when it is partiy apen.

We claim as our invention In combination with a drawer structure; u

a rectangular wooden slide fixed in the drawer structure below the center of the drawer to be guided, said slide projecting above the plane of the lower edge of the front of the drawer and having grooves cut on either side thereof above said plane; and a guide formed of a single piece of sheet metal, said guide having a flat top resting on the top of said slide, inwardly projecting flanges fitting into said grooves, sides joining said flanges to said top, and an at tachment member at right angles to said to having holes formed therein by which it may be attached to the drawer.
