This invent-ion relates to certain new?.1 und useful improvements in the production of fuelsnd more especially fuel in the foi-in desiwned for use as s fire kindler.

The invention hss for its object .the pro` vision ot n simple, inexpensive und ellicient means for the utilization of newspapers and other similar refuse materiel as s. medium for the burning of fuel oil or otherl oils of s viscous nature and of proper consistency.

When the bundle or package thus prepiired is kept within a suitable receptacle for considerable time, the package Wlll hecome substantiel in -form and, when the holding means used for retaining the bundle in shape when constructed is released, the package will still hold its form.

The essential object o the invention resides in the provisionof a. package of this character retained as will be hereinafter eX- plained.

The package thus formed is charged with,`

What I claim to be new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is l. An article of fuel comprising one or more papers folded into a compact bundle, the paper composing the package and the spaces between the sheets of the package being iilled with fuel oil or other oil of suitable body, viscosity, volatility and consistency, substantially as shown and dc'-4 scribed and for thepurpose specified.
