Abstract
The invention relates to means of electric engineering for plasma metallurgy and plasma chemistry. A method for automatic regulation of plasmatron operating conditions and an installation for its realization are presented as a control complex providing combination of control systems, universal compatibility, regulation of plasmatron operating conditions and its energy characteristics. The installation of automatic regulation for plasmatron operating conditions comprises a controller of arc current, a unit for excitation of arc, a gas-water stand and a control unit for the installation. The invention provides reliability growth and compactness under the conditions of automatic operation and simplification of plasmatron service.
