Abstract
A process for treating high concentration waste warp size-containing wastewater from textile or dyeing industry which has a COD level of 20,000 mg/l ~ 50,000 mg/l and a pH of 6~9; which is characterized in that the process requires no addition of a chemical floculent and comprises the following steps: (a) acidifying the high concentration waste warp size-containing wastewater to a pH of 2~4 thereby forming solids and a supernatant liquid; and (b) neutralizing the supernatant liquid to a pH of 6~8 by the addition of an alkali.
