Abstract
一種背光模組,包括一導光板和多個光源。該導光板包括一楔形入光部和與該楔形入光部相鄰接的一平板狀的有效可視部,該楔形入光部和該有效可視部具有共同的底面,該楔形入光部的厚度大於該有效可視部的厚度,該楔形入光部具有和該底面垂直的入光面、及和該入光面相對且連接該有效可視部的斜面,該有效可視部具有與該底面相對的照明面,該斜面上布有多個用於減少該斜面的漏光的V型槽。多個光源鄰近該入光面設置。由於本發明斜面上設置了V型槽,從而增大了光線到達斜面時的入射角,減少或消除了斜面的漏光。本發明還揭示一種該背光模組使用的導光板。
Description
本發明涉及一種背光模組。
現在,電子產品,特別是消費性電子產品,正在向著輕薄短小的方向發展。為此,電子產品的各種零元件也在向小型化發展。如圖1示出了一種薄型背光模組10,該薄型背光模組10包括一導光板20及安裝於鄰近導光板20一側邊處的光源30。該導光板20包括一鄰近光源30的楔形入光部21和一遠離光源30的平板狀的有效可視部22。楔形入光部21的厚度大於有效可視部22的厚度。楔形入光部21包括一與有效可視部22連接的斜面23,有效可視部22用於承載並照亮液晶面板(圖未示)。然而,當光線從光源30進入楔形入光部21傳遞到斜面23時,部分光線會從斜面23漏出,從而造成漏光現象並降低背光模組10的輝度。
有鑒於此,有必要提供一種可降低或消除漏光現象的背光模組。
有鑒於此,還有必要提供一種可降低或消除漏光現象的導光板。
所述背光模組包括一導光板和多個光源。該導光板包括一楔形入光部和與該楔形入光部相鄰接的一平板狀的有效可視部,該楔形入光部和該有效可視部具有共同的底面,該楔形入光部的厚度大於該有效可視部的厚度,該楔形入光部具有和該底面垂直的入光面、及和該入光面相對且連接該有效可視部的斜面,該有效可視部具有與該底面相對的照明面,該斜面上布有多個用於減少該斜面的漏光的V型槽。多個光源鄰近該入光面設置。
一種導光板,該導光板包括一楔形入光部和與該楔形入光部相鄰接的一平板狀的有效可視部,該楔形入光部和該有效可視部具有共同的底面,該楔形入光部的厚度大於該有效可視部的厚度,該楔形入光部具有和該底面垂直的入光面、及和該入光面相對且連接該有效可視部的斜面,該有效可視部具有與該底面相對的照明面,該斜面上布有多個用於減少該斜面的漏光的V型槽。
由於本發明斜面上設置了V型槽,從而增大了光線到達斜面時的入射角,減少或消除了斜面的漏光。
下面將結合附圖,對本發明作進一步的詳細說明。
請參閱圖2至圖3,其揭示了本發明一優選實施方式的背光模組100,該背光模組100包括導光板50及安裝於鄰近導光板50一側邊處的多個光源60。在本實施方式中,該光源60為LED,該導光板50以塑膠製成。該導光板50包括一鄰近光源60的楔形入光部51和一遠離光源60的平板狀的有效可視部52。楔形入光部51和有效可視部52一體成型,並具有共同的底面53,有效可視部52具有與底面53相對的照明面54,楔形入光部21具有面向光源60且與底面53垂直的入光面55、與入光面55相對且與有效可視部52連接的斜面56、及連接入光面55及斜面56且與底面53平行的連接面57。液晶面板(圖未示)位於照明面54上。
斜面56上設有多個V型槽58,在本實施方式中,V型槽58是彼此間無間距地分佈在整個斜面56上的,在其他實施方式中,V型槽58彼此間也可存在間距。每一V型槽58包括鄰近入光面55的第一面580及第二面581。在本實施方式中,楔形入光部51的厚度(底面53到連接面57之間的距離)為0.7mm,有效可視部52的厚度(底面53到照明面54之間的距離)為0.5mm,V型槽58的頂角α的角度範圍為20o~60o,深度(即槽頂點到槽開口的距離)範圍為20μm~50μm。
當使用時,光源發出的光線由入光面55進入導光板50後照射到斜面56上時,如果入射角小於全反射角,此時會發生折射現象,即光線從斜面56上射出,從而造成漏光。由於斜面56上佈滿V型槽58,在每個V型槽58處,斜面56的斜度會變大,從而造成光線到達第一面580時,光線的入射角增大,因此光線的入射角會更易於大於全反射角,從而使得光線從第一面580反射向底面53,而不是從第一面580射出;即使部分光線從第一面580射出,但是由於入射角增大,光線的折射角也會增大,從而使得光線會到達V型槽58的第二面581,並從第二面581折射入導光板50。通過上述的全反射及二次折射,光線從斜面56上射出的幾率大大減少,從而減少甚至消除了漏光現象。
另外,本領域技術人員可在本發明精神內做其他變化,然,凡依據本發明精神實質所做的變化,都應包含在本發明所要求保護的範圍之內。

Claims (10)
- 一種背光模組,包括:
一導光板,該導光板包括一楔形入光部和與該楔形入光部相鄰接的一平板狀的有效可視部,該楔形入光部和該有效可視部具有共同的底面,該楔形入光部的厚度大於該有效可視部的厚度,該楔形入光部具有和該底面垂直的入光面、及和該入光面相對且連接該有效可視部的斜面,該有效可視部具有與該底面相對的照明面,該斜面上布有多個用於減少該斜面的漏光的V型槽;及
多個鄰近該入光面設置的光源。 - 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的背光模組,其中,所述V型槽的頂角角度範圍為20o~60o。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的背光模組,其中,所述V型槽的深度範圍為20μm~50μm。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的背光模組,其中,所述光源為LED。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的背光模組,其中,所述導光板由塑膠製成。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的背光模組,其中,所述楔形入光部的厚度為0.7mm,有效可視部的厚度為0.5mm。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的背光模組,其中,所述楔形入光部還包括連接該入光面及該斜面且與該底面平行的連接面。
- 一種導光板,包括一楔形入光部和與該楔形入光部相鄰接的一平板狀的有效可視部,該楔形入光部和該有效可視部具有共同的底面,該楔形入光部的厚度大於該有效可視部的厚度,該楔形入光部具有和該底面垂直的入光面、及和該入光面相對且連接該有效可視部的斜面,該有效可視部具有與該底面相對的照明面,該斜面上布有多個用於減少該斜面的漏光的V型槽。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項所述的導光板,其中,所述V型槽的頂角角度範圍為20o~60o。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項所述的導光板,其中,所述V型槽的深度範圍為20μm~50μm。
