A6 B6 2 u 9 ' 五、發明説明(1 ) (請先閲讀背面之注意事項存瑱寫本頁) 本發明有關金屬之棍間連續鑄造,尤其鋼。 已知在鑲造高熔點硬金屬,諸如鐵及其合金之方法中 最主要之困難在於由輥所界定之鏵造間隙的終端密封。 可用於此之密封元件,更常稱為 ''側壩〃(s i de dam),必需可確實固封熔融金屬並防止此金靥與密封元件 接觸時之不當固化。 先前技藝所提之耐火材料側壩仍極不符合此二要求( FR-A-2, 613, 646, JP - A-579. 5 6 5) 0 發明標的是針對此問題提出一種決定性解答。 結果,本發明提出一種在棍間連缜鑄造金屬用之裝置 的鑄隙所用之終端密封側壩,其包括由耐火材料構成之與 鏵造金屬接觸的零件,其特徽為該材料為纖維結構且主要 由氧化鋁及氧化矽以各約7 0至9 8%及3 0至2%相對 重量之比例構成。 經濟部中央揉竿扃员工消費合作社印製 較好,若鑲造不銹鋼時,該耐火材料以氧化誥為主之 凝膠浸漬。 本發明亦提出此種側壩,其耐火零件由兩並列層構成 ,並特徵為欲與鑲造金屬接觸之第一層由纖維狀耐火材料 構成,如前述者,其具絶熱性,且欲確定組件之剛性及耐 機械性之第二層是由具低熱膨脹性之致密耐火材料形成。 如下述者,在鏵造開始時,富含A 1 2〇3之纖維耐火 層確保此新狀態,即,在使用前,其絶熱避免側壩上鏵造 ί·張尺茂適用中國國家標準(CNS)甲4規格(210 X 297公兗0 " 81.9.25,000 201iL79 五、發明説明(2 ) 金屬之不當固化。 發生此種多餘之固化時,其在锟間頸上游處,聯結在 棍上固化或冷卻之表層終端。如此可能在锟間形成無法在 锟間通過之確實楔形物(因其硬度),其在短時間内即對 鑲造操作造成最終阻礙。 之後,在初階鏵造中,纖維層因為鏵造金屬産生之機 械腐蝕而挖空。然後逐漸喪失其絶熱性。但是,同時使側 壩受熱。當此平衡達成後並持續提供欲鑄造之熔融金屬而 保持該平衡,不再害怕固化。此時,若所安排之纖維層初 厚度足夠而不使金屬穿透,則損耗維持穩定,故可持' 續_造操作而無€別困難。 是故,就此而論纖維層後之致密耐火層有利地構成一 安全板,其若需要則在纖維材料完全腐蝕後持續鑲造時包 含熔融金屬。 因金屬覆層有利地保護耐火零件並增進組件之機械性 能,故致密層較好選自低熱膨脹之耐火金屬,諸如熔融之 玻璃質氧化矽或鋁熔塊。 經濟部中央樣準屬8工消費合作社印製 鑄造不綉鋼時,以已知方式將纖維材料浸以氣化錯, 有改善耐腐蝕性之優點。浸漬後,Z r ◦ 2含置可佔氧化 錯、氧化矽及氧化誥複合體之15至70%重,然而上文 所述氧化鋁及氧化矽之百分比僅與此二組份之和有關。 在一非用於限制之實例中,此材料可包括3 7 %氧化 錯,4%氧化矽,57%氧化錯。浸漬前,其密度為 230kg/m3,浸漬後,為430kg/m3。其導熱 81.9.25,000 (請先閲讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) r 本纸張&度適用中國國家橒準(CNS)甲4規烙(210 X 297公兗f A6 B6 2012^9 五、發明説明(3) 性,在 lOOOt:,為 〇. 2 watt/m/。K。 如上所述,選用具高氣化鋁含量之纖維材料是基於其 具低導熱性的考量。然因其製造方式,此纖維多少會含有 另一成份一氣化矽。該纖維的使用溫度上限隨其氣化矽含 量增加而降低,如圖A所示。 在輥間鏵造銷鐵時,因側壩將與液態鋼鐵接觸,故其 使用溫度高於1 5 ◦ 0 t:。所以其矽含量必需低於或等於 3 0 % ,參看圖A。 更精確地說,側壩的使用狀況業經實驗室模擬而於一 1 5 0 0 1C液態鋼鐵中測試。所研究的性質有: -耐火材料對液態鋼鐵腐蝕之抗性; —於1 5 0 0它耐火材料之尺寸穩定性(dimensional stability)。在一高於1 200亡一 1 30 0 t:的溫度下 ,具高氧化鋁含量之纖維零件會有收縮情形。若此收縮情 形太嚴重,將使側壩與棍間鬆動,而液態鋼鐵則會滲入。 模擬測試的結果歸纳於表I ,其顯示: 一氧化矽高於3 0 %時(耐火材料A與B ),結果不良。 -經氧化錯浸漬後,改善了纖維材料對腐蝕的抗性(耐火 材料D與I) :D與I之氣化鋁與氣化矽的含量幾乎一樣 ,但D不含氧化錯而I有含氧化錯。就鋼鐵腐蝕抗性而言 ,D 為優(|ood),而 I 為特優(very good)。 本纸張又度適用中國國家橒準(CNS)甲4規格(210 X 297 ^^)5 -----------------f-----裝------tr------^ (請先《讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁} 經濟部中央標準扃β工消費合作社印製 81.9.25,000
