201226001 六、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 更詳而言之,係關於 本發明係關於藥物輪送裝置 藥物之自動注射裝置。 【先前技術】 在各種藥物治療中運㈣物輪㈣置已 繁,這是因為樂物的自動輪注可對病患提供 ^ 精確之治療。 罪 糖尿病是很重要的—健康問題,其對於病患之行動 自由及生活方式均會造成重大妨礙。通常,針對第一型 (騰島素依賴性)糖尿病之較嚴重形態症狀,治療方式 為每天執行-或多奴騰島纽射,稱為每日多次注 射。騰島素可㈣錢中之料糖或糖,藉以預防血糖 過高可能導狀贿毒症。料,騰島素治療給藥不當 可能會造成血糖過低’從而引發昏迷和死亡。已知糖尿 病患者血糖過高可能引起糖尿狀數種長期料,如心 臟病、動脈硬化、失明、中風、高金壓以及腎臟功能喪 失。 目前技術已可藉由頻繁監控錢值以避免或至少 盡量降低第—餘尿狀併發症。血糖監㈣有助於第 二型(非胰島素依祕)糖尿病患錢岐食及運動控 制症狀目此’謹慎監控血糖含量和及時精確、便利地 將姨2 ;主人體内實為糖尿病照護及治療之賴因素。 為=有效地㈣糖尿病,以減少此錢加諸患病 之,舌型態限制,已有各式企糖(BG)監控裝置問 201226001 :。此種裝置或儀,可供病患快速且在最低程度不 蚯,:广:’取侍自身血液或組織間隙液樣本進行分 夕〃例巾’此儀錶具有—顯示螢幕,用以顯示病 =之=_數。爾後病患可自行—料之騰島 ::許:糖尿病患者採用之施藥方式為每曰多次騰島素 /射。★多案例中,係由病患自行進行注射。 ’、 由於血糖值不正常(即血糖過高)會 弱感’因此病患於特定糖尿病症狀發作時虛 安全二―準確地施用胰…此外,對於生活 人而δ ’母日多錢島纽射之血糖控财式往往 參與特定活動之能力造成限制,因此每日多次注射。二 極度不便及困擾之事。對其他糖尿病患者而言,每 次注射可能也並非控制血糖值之最有效方式。因此日多 進一步改善精確度與便利性,乃有胰島素輸注幫為 發。 ' <開 胰島素幫浦通常為供病患攜帶於身上之裝置可 於衣物内或衣物外。由於該幫浦必須為病患所攜帶,置 宜為體積小且不引人注意之裝置。因此,病患實需〜故 更為精巧且能夠精確可靠投遞藥物之藥物輸送敦置。種 且,此裝置應具有更佳之效能、使用簡便,且可降低“ 量注射藥物時造成之疼痛。 -大 【發明内容】 本申請案與2010年9月21曰提出申請之美國專Μ 申請案第61/384,871號有關;所有申請案之内容整個& 此併入作為參考。 201226001 本發明關於注射裝置,亦稱為自動注射器,其作用 ,將藥物輸送至病患身體。以針頭及注射器為病患提供 藥物之方式已行之有年。必須於長時間提供大量藥物 時會使用靜脈「點滴」’但此種裝置通常需要由受過 訓練之健康照護者操作,如護士或醫師,以確保輸注裝 置正確穿透病患皮膚。此外,於數小時或更長時間中連 續乂供予病患之樂物通常混合有生理食鹽水。 目則並無元善裝置可供如胰島素依賴性糠尿病患 者等個人,安全地為自身施用每日注射或每日多次注射 所需之大量藥物。糖尿病患者通常必須使用注射器以針 頭穿透真皮組織,將藥物於10_30分鐘(或更久)之期 間注入體内。由於此種注射難免帶來疼痛,病患試圖「急 迫」施藥時,不但會增加疼痛,因胰島素分子體積較大, 且藥物黏度較高,此舉也會造成藥物散佈於真皮組織。 再者,從治療觀點而論,通常認為胰島素依賴性糖尿病 患者採用長時間注射較為有利。 有鑒於此需要,一種能夠儲存大量藥物並將之於長 時間投遞而出之裝置’將可對於具有各種病痛之患者提 供醫療上之助益,特別可嘉惠糖尿病患者。 【實施方式】 如圖1所示,此種裝置之例示性結構可包含,主要 包括一内部具有腔穴105之外殼100。腔六105内設有 一接收一數量藥物之藥匣140。該藥匣之一端具有一隔 膜145,供一輸注裝置150連接其上。該藥匣140之另 一端設有一活塞135,受一或多個彈簧130推頂。 201226001 熟習此項技藝者應知該等彈簧可以蝸桿傳動、導螺 桿或其他裝置取代,其可具有一預設伸長率,以將活夷 U5推頂入藥匣140 ’使輸注裝置150造成藥物經由二 膜145噴出,進而到達病患體内。若採用彈簧時,宜^ 量縮減藥匣140之長度,以使彈簧力的行程實質上維持 線性。雖然彈簧力小規模變化不至於對藥物輸送產生具 體的不利影響,但較佳的是在藥匣排空前均能維持 之藥物輸送率。 該裝置亦可包含一啟動片110,用以將隔獏145與 輸注裝置150隔開。拔除啟動片110可使輸注裝置 穿入隔膜145,而開始將藥物輸送至病患體内。待藥昆 内之藥物貯藏器排盡後,便可將該裝置拋棄。或者,該 裴置可包含插入新藥匣或填充藥匣之手段。該裝置可設 有一視窗120,以便使用者目視判定藥匣中是否仍有藥 物。雖然圖中未示,但該裝置可以另一彈簧或彈簧組, 在啟動片110拔除後’透過隔膜145推抵該輸注組。 圖2繪示本發明另一實施例,其中該活塞220具有 一突出物230。外殼200之内部包括一柱體210,位於 鄰近一葉片彈簧220或類似之撓性元件(可簡單為一軟 質塑膠突出物)處。當該活塞220受一或多個彈簧240 推頂而移動時,該突出物230靠近該葉片彈簧220。當 藥匣將近排空時,該突出物230推頂該葉片彈簧220, 而藥匣清空時(或藥物輸送完成時),該突出物230超 過該葉片彈簧220,使得葉片彈簧220回彈並撞擊該柱 體210。此撞擊產生之衝擊力會發出一「卡嗒」聲,向 使用者指示藥物輸送已經完成,且可移除裝置。 201226001 應知可採用專效之結構取代本§兒明書中所述鱼所 繪之結構’且在此所述之本發明實施例並非用以實施所 主張的本發明之唯一結構。此外,應知上述所有結構均 有其功此,且可將該專結構稱為用以提供該功能之手 段。雖然在此詳述本發明之實施例,熟習此項技藝者應 明確知悉此等實施僅屬實例性質。在不偏離本發明的惰; 況下,熟習此項技術者現仍可構思出為數眾多的變化、 修改與置換。 逋常 樂ιζ之大小取決病患每次注射所需之藥量。 ,胰島素而言,一般藥匣容量可為5〇單位(〇 5〇11)至3〇〇 單位(3 ml)。經由輸注裝置遞送藥物所必需之彈簧力, 取决於藥H中之藥物黏度以及所需投藥時間。例如:相 t在長時間内投遞稀賴物,欲在短時間内投遞濃稠 樂物,則需要具有更大力量之彈簧系統。 須工解此處所述之本發明的實施例之不同替代例 貫行本發明。以下申請專利範_為界定本發明 伹申請專利範圍中之方法與結構及其等效者 心、屬本案涵盖範圍。 【圖式簡單說明】 示性實施例之立體透 圖1為一自動注射器裝置例 視圖。 圖2顯示根據本發明自動注射衫置之另一例示 ϊίΓ中以三個圖面_藥物輯器中之液體量 逐漸減少。 201226001 【主要元件符號說明】 100.. .外殼 105.. .腔六 110.. .啟動片 120.. .視窗 135.. .活塞 130.. .彈簧 140.. .藥匣 145.. .隔膜 150.. .輸注裝置 200.. .外殼 210.. .柱體 220.. .活塞/葉片彈簧 230.. .突出物 240…彈簣
