Abstract

The present invention provides a polycarbonate resin composition with excellent weld strength. For details: the polycarbonate resin composition comprises (a) the 60 to 95 parts by weight of aromatic polycarbonate resin, (b) the 4 to 39 parts by weight of styrene/(methyl) acrylonitrile copolymer which is polymerized by the styrene monomers and (methyl) acrylonitrile monomers under the existence of rubber, (b') the 1 to 36 parts by weight of styrene/(methyl) acrylonitrile copolymer which is polymerized by the styrene monomers and (methyl) acrylonitrile monomers without the rubber, (c) the 0 to 40 parts by weight of phosphorus flame retardant agent, (d) the 0 to 5 parts by weight of fluorinated polyalkylene, and (e) the 0 to 50 parts by weight of inorganic filler. The characteristics of composition are that Sg, Sd and B are in accordance with the following relation (1). The Bwt% is the ratio of total weight of (a)+(b)+(b') and the weight of (b)+(b'). After processing the image of electron microscope photographs, the mean area Sd(μm2) of styrene/(methyl) acrylonitrile copolymer domain ([AS] domain is an abbreviation) dispersed in the matrix of polycarbonate resin and the mean area Sg (μm2) of rubber particle dispersed in the AS domain are measured.
