Abstract

Provided are a light guide panel for a backlight unit, and more particularly, to an upper main core for molding a light emitting surface of the light guide panel and a method of manufacturing the light guide panel by using the lower main core. The light guide panel has a light-emitting surface for emitting light. A bottom surface is disposed opposite to the light-emitting surface. A light-receiving surface is disposed between one longitudinal end of the light-emitting surface and one longitudinal end of the bottom surface to receive light emitted from a light source of the backlight unit. A diffusion pattern is formed on the light-emitting surface. The diffusion pattern includes a first oblique pattern and second oblique pattern. The first oblique pattern is formed on the light-emitting surface at a predetermined angle to the light receiving surface. The second oblique pattern is formed on the light-emitting surface at an opposite angle with respect to the first oblique pattern.
