Abstract
A periodic structure is employed on an organic light-emitting device to enhance efficiency of light output, which forms a periodic corrugated structure on a light-emitting side or light output surface. The periodic structure has the feature of a photonic crystal. The organic light-emitting device is composed of a transparent substrate having photonic crystal structure and organic light-emitting element. The upper surface of the transparent substrate forms periodic corrugated structure. The organic light-emitting element is disposed on the upper surface of the transparent substrate. The period of the corrugated structure is determined in accordance with optic design to have at least two periods. Meanwhile, replicated stack of multiple-layered film is formed on the periodic corrugated structure, which, based on designs for different functions, comprises an arbitrary combination of a trimming layer, a flat layer, and a multi-layered film composed of alternating layers of high and low refractivity.
