Abstract

Bir çok sayidaki mevcut güçlendirilmis beton yapilar, örnegin binalar ve köprüler, depremler veya bomba patlamalari sirasinda beklenilenler gibi anormal yüklere maruz kaldiklarinda kritik bölümlerinde belirgin bir kirilganlik gösterir. Tüm mevcut altyapinin yeni ve gelismis yapilar ile degistirilmesi ekonomik olarak mümkün degildir; yenileme sadece sismik veya yapisal bozuklugu olan yapilarin problemine çözüm getirir. Yeni bir yenileme islemi mevcut güçlendirilmis beton kolonlarin (10) mukavemet ve deforme olabilirligini arttirmak üzere gelistirilmistir. Bu islem kolonun (10) kritik bölümlerinin belirlemesini, kirilgan kirilma ve/veya baski bozukluklarina neden olabilecek kritik baskilarin belirlenmesini, bu baskilarin bazilarinin üstesinden gelmek ve baski betonunun esnekligini arttirmak üzere yanal sinirlama baskisi saglamak için harici baskinin belirlenmesini içerir.
