Abstract

FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: methanol is synthesized by oxidation of CH-containing gas at 370-450 C under pressure 5-20 MPa with O-containing gas exibiting temperature 30-50 C. Process is carried out at dispersed O-containing gas feeding along reactor at point addition above one at oxygen concentration at reagent mixing point 1-4 vol.%. Oxidation is carried out preferably at 410 C at Oconcentration 2.5 vol.%. Method ensures to increase methane conversion for a single run from 9.5 to 50% and methanol yield from 0.62 to 20 kg/mx s.
