Description

A disadvantage of the known methods for determining the optimal modes of operation of vibrating feeders is the possibility of random movements of the workpiece over the tray, disturbing its movement and orientation. The proposed method differs from the known ones in that it allows to accurately record the movement of the workpiece. This is achieved by using a sensor embedded in the moving workpiece to capture pulses when the workpiece is separated from the tray, and the output signal is modulated according to the amplitude of the movement curve of the workpiece.

The sensor wiring diagram is shown in the drawing.

The voltage from the sound generator 1 is fed to the input of the measuring bridge 2, in one of whose arms an inductive sensor 3 is turned on. The balance coil 4 is structurally designed in the same way as the sensor coil 3. The air gap at the balanced coil is balanced with a micrometer screw. Potentiometer 5 is designed to balance the bridge in the active component, and the capacitor 6 in the reactive component. At the output of the measuring bridge, a voltage is obtained with a frequency equal to the frequency of the voltage supplied to the input of the bridge, modulated by the amplitude of the movement curve of the workpiece. The voltage taken from measuring bridge 2 is fed to the input of amplifier 7, and from it through detector S to the oscilloscope 9. On the oscilloscope screen, an envelope is obtained, which is the curve of the motion of the workpiece.
