Abstract

The invention relates to a device (11) for application of electrostatically chargeable particles, such as fibres or powdered materials, to an object, which device (11) has at least one surface of a dielectrical material towards which the particles are directed from a dispenser while being transported by an air stream generator, whereupon said particles, electrostatically charged by friction, are transported towards the object. The device is characterised in that it comprises at least one particle-flow disturbance means (18) for increasing the surface of the particles being presented towards the dielectrical material.
