Abstract

In an arrangement for securing a hub on a cylindrical shaft 10, the shaft is provided with a limit stop and a nut, by means of which the hub is clamped against the limit stop. According to the invention, the limit stop comprises a support ring 12 which is in engagement with a groove 11 in the shaft, and a spacer ring 13 bearing axially on the support ring. For forces acting on the shaft to be evenly distributed about the circumference, the support ring 12 is made of harder material than the spacer ring 13 and/or the shaft 10, so that the spacer ring and/or the shaft is/are deformed when the nut 14 is tightened. <IMAGE>
