Abstract
At least two piston - cylinder mechanisms (7,8) are involved, each having two work chambers on opposite sides of the piston. In these chambers are valves (31,34) for coordinating the relative position of the piston and cylinder in the one mechanism with that of the piston and cylinder in the other mechanism. The first work chambers (16,21) are connected (28) to each other so that the one mechanism (8) is operated indirectly by the other (7), and if the one piston (14 or 19) reaches an end position before the other, fluid communication on a sufficient scale is permitted so that the other piston is impelled forward to its end position.
