Abstract

A grab with two oscillating grip arms (2, 3) which operate via a power unit (1) whose swivel axles (9, 10) are connected to a carrier unit (13, 14) which can be projected by a dedicated steerage along the grab's one-for-one segmented frame. The unit (17) for the attachment of the grab to a lifting device, a crane or the like, is deployed on the frame. The power unit (1) operates between the carrier units (13, 14). Each one of two shackle arms (29, 30) is connected at one of its ends to the swivel axles for the grab arm and at the other end, to the corresponding grip arm at a distance point from the swivel axles. Parallel lines, which bisect each one of the link arms, cross each other.<IMAGE>
