Apparatus for conditioning ambient air, of use more particularly for domestic purposes, comprises a casing having a hollow base containing a removable filter 7, an active carbon filter 9, a blower 10, a chamber 11 containing water, a duct 16 for delivering air from the blower 10 into the chamber 11 below the level of the water therein, a tank 18 communicating with the chamber 11 for dispensing an odourising agent into the water therein, and temperature and humidity regulating means 23. <IMAGE>
