Abstract

A coupling nipple for connecting fluid flow components has a throughflow passage in which is mounted an adjustable throttle means (111, 112), the wall of the nipple body being provided with a setting aperture (109) through which the throttle means is accessible for adjustment to vary the effective cross-section of the passage, a seal (116) being provided for sealing the aperture from the passage. <IMAGE>
