Abstract
The subject-matter of the invention is a chain structure having holders for retaining and guiding one or more lines which carry energy and are attached by means of their one part to a connecting point (1) and are attached by means of their second part (2, 2') to a device which consumes or produces energy and moves in the longitudinal direction of the line, whose holders consist of supporting elements for the purpose of interaction of the line with elements which are aligned parallel, adjacent elements being connected such that they can pivot in a previously determined angle which is set such that the chain structure can form at least one semicircle with a small radius of curvature in a first curvature direction (5), and can form only a weak curvature with a large radius of curvature in a second curvature direction (6). The chain structure is arranged such that it can be guided by sliding rails (3, 4) which are fitted in the longitudinal direction of the line. The sliding rail (3, 4) is constructed with a cross-section and profile which essentially correspond to an "H". The upward and downward pointing regions (8a, 9a, 8b, 9b) of the two vertical limbs (8, 9) are bent away from one another to a certain extent, while the horizontal supporting part (10) which holds the two limbs (8, 9) together is offset from the centre of the vertical limbs (8, 9). In consequence, one and the same sliding rail profile can be used for the entire length of the sliding rails (3, 4), by occupying a first position in a first section and a second position in a second section. <IMAGE>
