Abstract

A positron annihilation imaging device comprises two or more coaxial circular arrays of detectors (2, 2'), with the detectors in one array angularly offset with respect to the detectors in the adjacent array to detect more than one tomographic image simultaneously through different cross-sections of a patient. <IMAGE>
