Abstract

The invention refers to an apparatus which at a vertically adjustable work bench gives a linear vertical movement to the work plate (1) which work bench comprises a support having vertical side portions (4) at which mutually parallel arms (6, 7) by means of a first end portion are mounted for a pivoting movement which pair of arms (6, 7) by means of a second end portion are also mounted for a pivoting movement at a vertically arranged raising beam (8) which by means of its upper portion is fixed to the work plate (1) or to a frame (2) comprised in said plate. According to the invention the two vertical side portions (4) of the support are provided with telescopic extensions (9) fixed to the plate (1) or its frame arranged to give to the same at the vertical adjustment a linear vertical movement. The raising beam (8) is at its fixing to the plate (1) or its frame (2) arranged sliding horizontally in relation to the same in order to make the linear movement of the plate (1) in the vertical direction possible.
