Abstract

The disclosure relates to a vase for holding cut flowers. The vase comprises an outer vessel (100) adapted to contain water, and an inner wire cage (200) adapted to receive stems of said cut flowers, wherein the inner wire cage (200) comprising a connection portion (210), an end portion (230), and a waist portion (220) between the connection portion (210) and the end portion (230), and the outer vessel (100) comprising an opening (130) for insertion of the inner wire cage (200) into the outer vessel (100), and a connecting portion (120) adapted to interact with the connection portion (210) of the inserted inner wire cage (200) to support the inner wire cage (200) inside the outer vessel (100), wherein the inner wire cage (200) is tapered from the connection portion (210) towards the waist portion (220), and the inner wire cage (200) is further tapered from the end portion (230) towards the waist portion (220), thereby forming a waist (W) of the inner wire cage (200).
