The method (400) comprises: detecting (401) a height irregularity (110) on a road segment (120) ahead of the vehicle (100), in a direction of movement (105); and increasing (405) the suspension height of the vehicle (100) at a set of height adjustable suspension springs (210, 220) of the vehicle (100).
