It is put on barrel between breech and firing ports, closer to firing port. Insufficient cost of manufacture of localizer as compared with cost of aircraft cannon makes it possible to use it widely. EFFECT: effective removal of gases away from air-intakes.

The localizer for automatic weapons belongs to the field of military equipment and can be used in automatic guns. The localizer contains a housing with a camera and windows. In order to effectively remove powder gases to the sides of the aircraft’s air collectors and to ensure significant absorption of excess recoil energy from the shot, the localizer is equipped with gas pipes entering the body windows facing the opposite side of the projectile’s movement and placed on the barrel between the breech and muzzle sections, but closer to muzzle. The insignificant cost of manufacturing a localizer compared to the cost of an air gun allows this weapon to be combined with a carrier.
